Silence. I lie there looking up at the sky. My palms are tacky with moisture, my eyes are glassy. Only one question is stuck in my head-what happened? I push myself to my feet and gaze at the world around me. My whereabouts must be unknown this place is a place I have never seen before- Purple illuminated flowers bend over, burgundy trees whisper to each other. The titanium white ground beneath me shakes and rumbles. Stones turn over and pebbles bounce. I flee in desperation. I don't know where I'm going but I'm sure I'm going to find a way out. I stumble over an unusually large rock and graze my hands. A feeble groan escapes my mouth and I begin to sob. Like anyone else would, I want to go home now. I decide I won't give up now, this might just be the start. I dust myself off and race to wherever I can. I run until my legs become numb and even then I don't stop. I carry on running and then come to a halt. A fire? In the daytime? It burns brightly like the spirit of my mother. This meant I'm not alone. Now I had two things to worry about- was the fact that I'm not alone a good thing? I hide behind a stone wall as soon as I hear the ground rumbling. I hear rough, low murmurs. It didn't look anything at all like a human, a steel head and electric feet. Maybe the idea of coming here was bad one. I peep through a hole in the rock but unfortunately, my hand skims an empty can and it falls. I start to breathe heavily. Instantly, the gang of gunmen raise their weapons. "Who's there?! We'll give you until the count of three!" I had no choice but to turn myself in. With my hands raised, I step out of the shade and into the open.
