Who am I?

I woke up feeling more well rested then I had been in a long time, I reached out towards the ceiling then laid back down in my bed. Wait bed? when did I go to my bedroom?! Draco must have put me in here sometime last night. I lay back down on my pillow and I turn to see what time it is, my clock reads 8:30....." I'm late!" I screeched, throwing back my covers and making a mad-dash for my door. I run down the hall and out the enchanted wall towards the kitchens, narrowly missing a house elf carrying a basket of clothes.

"Alexandra, May I see you for a moment." I skidded to halt and backed up to the open doorway too see Lucius looking up at me through his spectacles with a copy of the 'Daily Prophet' in his hands. I slowly walked into the room and as I got closer I hear the door shut. making me jump back abit. "You wanted to see me Master Malfoy?" I say dumbly, looking at my feet which has become a habit when I'm put in situation like this. "Yes, Do you know the reason why I gave you a place in my household?"I heard him ask. I shot daggers at the floor understanding where this was going.

"Yes, Sir because my parents and you were mates." I heard him get up, letting the paper he held fall to the floor "Right and we wouldn't want to disappoint them by acting above your station now do we?" "No sir, it won't happen again." I reply. He brushed past me and turned down the hall but not before saying " Make sure it doesn't or you WILL regret it." Once I couldn't hear his footsteps anymore I let out a breath I didn't realize I was holding in and walked towards the kitchens too start my day.

"ALY!" I heard a little high-pitched voice shout as I came into the kitchens, I giggle as I see Twinkie get up from sitting on the floor polishing spoons and toddle towards me. I scoop her up in my arms and snuggle her close too my chest "Well hello there love, how are we this morning?" I ask the small house-elf that was currently playing with strands of my hair.

"Good...Aly why was you and Dra-co sleeping on each other?" I look at the small elf shocked at the boldness of her question. "uhhhh....uhhhh" was all I could say, "Alexandra!" I heard the head house elf call "Yes?" I said turning around. "The misses would like to have a word with you, and she said bring the little one along" He said before walking out of the kitchens. I looked down a Twinkie and sigh "Come along, we have been summoned." I say to her holding out my hand, which she gladly accepts and we began to make our way through the lower levels of the manor.

Walking up the various stairs towards the master bedroom, I begin to ponder what had happened yesterday. Honestly I thought the dark lord was going to kill me and what scared me the most was that I was actually hoping he would, just so I could with my parents once again and be truly happy but I don't want to leave Draco because he means the world to me even though he'll never know.

"You summoned me, mistress?" I asked walking into the bedroom where Narcissa sat at her dressing table brushing her long blond hair. Looking at me through the mirror she spoke,

"Yes, there is going to be Masquerade Ball two days from now and I need you too start instructing the house elves to clean the ballroom floor as well as all the Chandlers on the 1st and 4th floor along with polishing the silver." I nodded making a mental note of these chores. "And what shall I do Mistress?" She turned towards me and got up walking over to her walk-in closet and brought out a simple but Formal black gown and a matching pair of flats "And you shall be by my side helping me greet the guests as well as anything else that I can't be there for that evening." She said handing me the articles of clothing, they felt so soft and new, I hadn't had new clothing in years, so this was amazing not to mention beautiful "Are you sure mistress?" I reply, unsure of her decision. She shared a small smile with me before walking towards the door "Completely" she said and just like that she was gone. I looked down at twinky who was gingerly playing with the hem of the dress "Well now I guess we have allot todo in the next few days" She just looked up at me with her biig tennis ball eyes and smiles "Yes Aly we do." I shake my head at her and both head towards the kitchens.
