Chapter 15: Problems

Hiro's POV:

I watched (y/n) walking away with Kaoru instead of me. 'What's wrong with her today? She haven't been herself today' I thought as I went home, taking a nice hot shower.

As I was about to full blast the earphone volume, a knock came from the front door could be heard. I went to open my door and see (y/n), on my doorstep.

"How may I help you?" I asked while lower down the volume.
"Can I sleepover in here for few days?" (y/n) asked back.
"Wait, are you-"
"Please?" she cut off.

I stared at her face for a good minutes and finally respond while stepping away from the door.
"Okay, come in,"
"Thanks," is the only word she said as I lead her to her room.
"So umm, why do you want to sleep here instead of your room or crash at Kaoru's house?" I asked while unlocking the guest room door for (y/n).

There was a long pause between us. I cleared my throat to broke the awkward silence.
"So here's your room for a while. If you need anything you can ask me in my bedroom." I said as I went to my room.
"Good night, (y/n)." I added and closed the door.
"...Good night," (y/n) replied and went inside to her room.

Y/n's POV:

As I walk home with Kaoru, Kaoru suddenly asked me out of the blue.

"Hey (y/n), can I ask you something?" Kaoru asked.
"Sure, what is it?" I said while searching my phone in my school bag.
"Umm..." Kaoru trailed off as I saw his orbs looking to the left and right.
"Well?" I stopped and turn to him.
"D-Do you..." Kaoru soon stopped in front of me.
"Yeah?"

Kaoru look downward a little while and turn away while blushing. 'I'm confused, Kaoru. What the heck are you trying to say?' I thought while calmly waiting him to say.

"DoyoulikesomeonewhoisjustlikemeorlikeHiro?" Kaoru speak too fast as his face getting red. Luckily, I understand what does he say with full speed.
"Umm... I don't know what are you talking about. Can you repeat again?" I lied as I look straight at his green orbs.
"N-Nothing..." he said as he quickly went away.

'Neither of you, Kaoru. Neither of you guys.' I thought as I start to walk again.
'But Hiro does, (y/n). Don't lie,' my second thought said.
'It'll be a looooooooooong battle...' my third thought echoed as the first and second thought argue and didn't realized that I'm in front of my home already.

"I'm home!" my voice echoed in the house and came to face silence. I groaned and slapped myself mentally because mom went to work already. As usual, I went to the fridge to take out my food and noticed a note on one of the pizza box.

"Dear (y/n),

I will be outstation starting from today with your father. I left you some cash for your food & supplies at the bank. Please keep clean the living room & kitchen. Don't skip meals too, we will call you when we're back. Love you.

-Mom"

"Okay then... thanks mom." I settled my bag down as I sit and start to eat the pizza. "Now what?" I mumbled while munching.

'Maybe I should crash at Kaoru's place, but he's too dangerous." I thought.
'How about Hiro's place? But he's with Ikada now. I'll be in a big, BIG trouble if Ikada finds out.' another thought came.
"Who the heck cares? Screw her-" "Screw who?" a voice beamed at the living room. I looked up towards the door and saw Kaoru standing there. I froze at my seat, even stop eating my pizza on the spot as he came towards me and took a bite from the pizza I'm holding now.

"I'm asking you screw who?" his harsh tone voice echoed to my ears and his eyes send shivers down to my spine.
"Nothing." I shook my head gave him a fake smile, but it didn't work.
"Don't "nothing" me, I'm asking you one last time. Screw who?" Kaoru glared at me as his face is inches away from mine.

My heart panicked and blood rushed through my cheeks while Kaoru's eyes stare at my own soul, waiting for the answer from my mouth.

"U-Umm..." I slowly look away from eye contact but he swiftly grabbed my chin.
"What?" he lowered his cold tone voice and his eyes softened a little.
"I-I'm just... thought about the girl from one of the video doing the stupidest thing. Yeah," I scratched my so 'itchy' head and give him a smile.
"Really?" Kaoru took the slice from my hand and bite all the way.

I nodded and took another slice. Kaoru looked at me with his softened green orbs and leaned his forehead on mine. I shifted my seat uncomfortably but Kaoru kept leaning on no matter what. Finally, I gave up. 'You're really annoying, Kaoru..' I thought while picking up the empty boxes and threw them into trash bin outside my house. Kaoru followed me and suddenly hug me from behind.

"K-Kaoru, let go of me!" I shouted.
"Not until I hear it," he replied with a grin. The more I struggle, his grip tightens even tighter.
"I-I..." I trailed off and stopped struggling.
"I what?" he whispered at my right ear. Heat rushed through the veins of my ears and start trembling.
"I-I lo-love..."

"...I love you."
"Good," he grinned and let me go. "I'm going now. I love you too, honey. " he winked at me and went back to his house backwards.

"..." Dumbfounded. Confused. I stand there for more than 10 minutes. 'I better crash at Hiro's place now, ' I quickly went inside my house, packed some things that I needed and went straight to Hiro's home.

I knocked the door, hoping that Hiro will answer the door and he did.

"How may I help you?" Hiro asked while he lower down the volume from his earphone.
"Can I sleepover in here for few days?" I asked.
"Wait, are you-" before he can finish,
"Please?" I cut off.

'Come on, Hiro. I'm in danger now, ' I prayed in my head while waiting his answer.
"Okay, come in," he finally answered and move away from the doorway.
"Thanks," I said as I stepped in with my things.
"So umm, why do you want to sleep here instead of your room or crash at Kaoru's house?" Hiro asked while unlocking the guest room door.

I froze on the spot rewind what happened just now. Before my tears burst, Hiro cleared his throat.
"So here's your room for a while. If you need anything you can ask me in my bedroom." he said as he went to his room.
"Good night, (y/n)." he stopped at the doorway and went in.
"...Good night," I replied and went to my room.

Finally, hot tears streamed down on my face. I need someone to hug me and keep me away from them. I need help.

Kaoru's POV:

After I went in, I took a peek through the window checking my honey, (y/n). I saw her standing there for more than 10 minutes, then she went inside. I jumped in joy for teasing (y/n) like that just now.

I run to my room, jumped on my bed and grinning in the pillow like a madman finally chopped the person's head. I should plan another move. And then, I got an evil idea for my lovely (y/n). 'Let's see if you love Hiro or me this time.' I thought as I went to sleep.

Sorry for the late update cuz author-chi ran out of idea & might update more often since.... a long-ass holiday is here *pops confetti & dances*

Okay okay, enough for that shiz.
