-Shigatsu-chi
Hiro's POV:
It's already morning but the hangover still running through my body. Day by day, Ikada is getting annoying which makes me lock every doors and windows this house has. I gazed my alarm clock, covered with clothes that I should've fold after drying it a few days ago.
"(Sighs) Why am I crying over her just because she's with someone else?" I muttered.'Cause she's your first lover, idiot.' my inner self said. I shook my head and sat on my bed
Clothes were folded and placed at the wardrobe, 10:15 a.m. is showing on the alarm clock screen. I ruffled my hair, which is really oily. A quick shower should do. Before I enter the shower, I looked at my reflection on the mirror. Eyes were red and eyebags could be seen clearly.
'Huh, how pathetic I am.' I thought to myself. (Y/n), please be okay.
-Later-
I went downstairs for breakfast. Rubbishes and dirty dishes were everywhere.
'I should've done chores earlier before mom came,' thoughts running through my head while collecting dishes and rubbishes.
Suddenly, a furious knock came from the back door. Now what? I rolled my eyes and let it on. Must be Ikada. Knocks still could be heard then silence came. A soft sound slides on the back door and sobs came from the outside. A small voice from the person outside the door made my heart smashed into pieces.
"(Sniffs) I just need your help, Hiro. Please open the door. I'm scared of him." (y/n).
I quickly dropped everything and unlocked the door. A tight hug embraced me and her cries became loud( well, not too loud though). I pat her head gently, comforting her while closed and locked the door.
"H-Hiro, please hide me from K-Kaoru. He's torturing me." she stutters.
"It's alright, I'm here for you." I reassured her.
"I-I'm scared..."
"I'm here now. Come on, I bet you're tired from crying and stuff." I pat her head and lead her to the office room where my mom used to go whenever she is having stress.
"R-Right here?" she asked.
"Actually, no." I answered while searching the lever.
"T-Then where am I supposed to h-hide?"
"Up here," Finally, I found the lever. Pulling it, a ladder slowly lower down. After we climbed up, she stare in awe. Mom's tiny garden is still perfect since I take care when I came back here. One thing that I'm still surprise is the flowers didn't wither after a few years left this house. I watched (y/n) walked towards the orchids, mom and her favourite flower. Dark bruises are all over her body, even her face.
Sigh.
Kaoru's POV:
"(Y/n)!" I shouted. Nothing.
"(Y/n)!" Still nothing.
"Argh!"I tossed the table, things on the table dropped on the floor. Some were broken, some weren't. I ruffled my hair, searching (y/n) everywhere.
"Bullshit, (y/n)! Where the hell are you?" I shouted.
Then, a thought came through my mind. Hiro.
-Later-
"Hiro!" I shouted while knocking the door. No answer.
"Hiro Hashi!" I shouted again. Knocks became more louderMost of the people in the neighbourhood peeked through their windows, curious of what's happening. Footsteps from inside louder and louder. The door is wide opened and Hiro is stepping in front of me, arms crossed.
"Let me in." I said.
"For what?" he asked.
"Searching for things." I answered, shifting off from my position.
"Things? What things?" he asked again.
"My things." I answered, waiting for him to move out.
"As far as I know, you didn't keep anything in my house." he spat and shut the door, but luckily the door didn't close.
"Have you seen (y/n)?" I asked.
"Why didn't you said so? No." he tried to close the door but I still able to stop. 'He must be hiding (y/n) here somewhere,' I thought.
"Hiro." I said.
"Fine, search every inch of the side if you can. One thing, (y/n) isn't here as you expected. Good luck." he finally opens the door wide, looking unsatisfied.'We'll see, Hiro. We'll see,' I thought as I start to search (y/n).
(Y/n)'s POV:
I heard the conversation between both of them. clearly to be exact which makes me more scared.
'I hope that he won't find me here,' I thought, clasping my hands tightly while sitting on the couch. Hiro better be right.
Not long after, shuffles and footsteps could be heard. My heart beating fast, worrying that he will find the secret passage to here. But, nothing happen. The sound of footsteps went quieter and quieter, then silent. I sighed in relief and tip-toed towards the balcony, surrounded with beautiful, rare flowers.
"(Y/n), are you okay?"
I quickly turned around and Hiro is there, looking worried. I ran to him and hugged him tightly.
"It's alright. He's gone for now," he paused, patting my head.
I looked at him with tears streaming down on my cheeks. Then he kissed my forehead, reassuring me that everything is alright.
"I will protect you no matter what. I promise, my princess." he continued.
Since then, he kept his promise. Walking with me to school, eating together, going home and more. Everyone looked at us and exchanged their look to each other, but Hiro ignored them. He still continues to protect me, even during the class.
To be continued...
