MOON ROSE [Shaman King Fanfic AU]

Prologue

~~ YEAR 2012 ~~

"From now on, Ellen Nishikino, shall be hailed as Queen of Rose City!" The priest exclaimed as he slowly put the crown above Ellen's temple.

"All hail Queen Ellen!" The crowd cheered happily, as well as the little girl named Luna Izayoi, who had a Red Rose on her head just like Queen Ellen.

"I shall rule this wonderful city with peace and gratitude. I may be a Rose and a Vampire, but I will not plot a scheme unlike that King of Noble Vampires! If that time comes, the prophecy of a girl with a Red Rose shall be the hope of our city! Humans and Roses, we shall live in mercy and harmony!" Ellen explained as the crowd cheered more happily.

"Thank you for listening, my people." And with that, Ellen smiled as she throw colorful petals in the sky.

~~ 4 Years Later ~~

*SLAM!*

"*huff* *huff* Y-Your Highness!" The duke shouted as he ran towards Queen Ellen. "What is it?" Ellen asked worriedly.

"T-The Nobles..*huff* they're gonna ambush us!" The Duke cried.

"Oh no.."

*SCREAMS*

The Rose City was once a peaceful city, full of people singing in harmony and children playing happily. However, the Noble Vampire King named King Vestus Bathory wanted to marry Queen Ellen but she rejected his proposal. This driven him mad due to his desperation and obssession of having Ellen as a wife, so he decided to declare an ambush of Ellen's city to make her beg.

"N-No please stop..!" A woman cried but her heart was already crushed. "Onee chan what's happening??.." Luna's adopted little brother named Rei, cried. "R-Rei we better run.."

"Find the maiden with a red rose and bring her to me!!"

"Oh no..Rei we have to go!" Luna shouted as she started to pull Rei to run. "Mr. Teddy!" Rei cried as he saw his plushie on the road.

"Stay here!" As Luna dropped Rei to the woods, she started to run towards the plush and successfully got it. However, when she turned around, Rei was gone.

"R-Rei??.." Luna's eyes widened until a shout snap her back to reality. "Hey over there!" A Vampire shouted and Luna ran fast as she can to the woods, worrying that her little brother has captured or taken by someone in the woods.

Now, shall we begin the story?..

..Of course it is.

It was snowing and Luna was still running for her life, scared of death even no shout of a Vampire, but her run was stopped when she accidentally bump herself to a tree.

"*sniff* Rei...I..I shouldn't have leave you there.." Luna cried continiously while walking and shivering. "M-Mom...dad.." The Red Rose cried again and again as she remembered the death and her memories with her family.

To make herself calm, she sang a song with the tone of U.N. Owen was her?

'Is there a way to save my brother?
I wish I had strength to protect him as I always do..

But still, I can't do it..
I feel like a coward in everyone's eyes..'

As the song ended, Luna hugged Rei's plush tight, remembering the times she always save him from bullies but.. she's scared of a Vampire going to take her away and make her a sacrifice.

Until her legs started to limb,'I wish...someone help me save my little brother..' And fell unconscious. However, a boy with short brown hair with orange headphones came down from a tree nearby and walked towards Luna.

"Uh oh, I guess she needs some help." The brownette said as he put a blanket on Luna and carried her.

~~ Meanwhile ~~

"Gah!" Ellen gasped in pain as her stomach was kicked by Jugemu, the captain of the army. "Where is the last Red Rose!?" He shouted at Ellen.

"Jugemu, stop. You're hurting my future bride." Vestus commanded angrily to see Jugemu hurting 'his' wife.

"*cough* *cough* Y-You will not win, Vestus! The last red Rose is gone from your army's sight!" Ellen's duke yelled from afar but got thrown outside the window. "No!" "Tell me where is she or else I'll make them throw your people outside the w-" "Then I'll marry you, Vestus! That's what you wanted, right!?" Ellen broke free and started fighting Jugemu and kicked him away. "Well yes!" Vestus smiled happily as he dodge Ellen's home kick and pulled her by the leg to throw her.

"You know, Ellen? You should have said that because a few of your people died." Vestus waved his hands and clapped happily. "Now then, a kiss shall prove that you'll agree to our marriage.." Vestus whispered as he orded the fastly-recovered Jugemu to hold Ellen.

"And I ask again, will you..marry me?.."

"No.."

"I take that as a yes." Vestus smiled once again and smashed his lips to Ellen's but pulled away immediately.

"*sigh* I know you don't like that but my lips just can't wait now ta ta~ enjoy your life in the basement! Queen- or should I say, honey~.." Vestus winked as he disappeared to the other room.

As Ellen was thrown to the basement, which was very fancy and clean, she used her vision ability to see if the last Rose alright. It showed the boy with orange headphones carrying Luna, and Ellen sighed in relief.

"Last Red Rose Maiden...you're the only hope of this city.. May the Lord shall be with you.." Ellen prayed, praying about the good ending of the fate of her city and people.

"..and the prophecy of the Lord has begun." The queen added as she looked at the decorations of red roses on her ceiling.

A/N: Phew! I feel tensed! XD I am SO happy that I made myself an original story plot! And I apologize for the short chapter because I don't have much time to write more and then I slept late.
