Hey. I'm Ella Marner, the one and only Mitch Marner's sister. I live with Mitch in Toronto.  I just moved here two days ago though. Everything is in the apartment now. Today I am going with Mitch to meet the Maple Leafs. I got dressed in a cute outfit.

I did my hair into a French braid and waited for Mitch in the living room. I looked around in the living room. Posters of many past NHL players. Geordie Howe, Bobby Orr, Wayne Gretzky, and a whole bunch more. Then I realized that I was lucky to be with Mitch. He was the best brother anybody could possibly have. I remember why I wanted to move in with Mitch in the first place. I wanted to go to Toronto, get a job. Start out with a small job then go big. I am so glad Mitch let me move in with him.

Then, Mitch came downstairs and said, "Okay! Let's go!" In a very cheery voice." In the car, Mitch was playing the latest music channel on the radio and MY SONG CAME ON. My song is Closer by The Chainsmokers. I sang out every word of that song. When the song was over, I was sad. "Where are we going?" I asked Mitch. "To a restaurant called LaVania." Mitch replied. I have heard of that place. Apparently it had AMAZING food. I'll see about that. "I think you like the team. They are great!" Mitch exclaimed. "I'm so nervous! What if they don't like me!" I whined. "They'll love you Ella!" Mitch said. Then I mentally freaked out. I was going to meet people such as William Nylander and Auston Matthews. Yeah, I was definitely freaking out. I kept a poker face on so Mitch didn't know I was freaking out.

We pulled up to LaVania and strolled inside. There was a reservation table and we walked to it. "For Marner." Mitch said. "Follow me." The waitress said. There were already a whole bunch of guys there. You were even more nervous now. Everyone's eyes were on me. "Hey guys." Mitch said. "This is my sister Ella." He said and pointed at me. "Hey." All the guys said in unison. "Hi." You replied. You sat down by someone you didn't know. "Hi. I'm Jake Gardiner." He said. Ishook his hand. "I'm Ella." I replied. "So, do you play hockey too?" Jake asked. "No. I do swim, volleyball, and basketball though." I replied. "Wow." Jake looked impressed. "You do a lot of sports." "Yeah. I don't know  I do it." I giggled. Then another person sat down beside me. It was freaking WILLIAM NYLANDER. I tried not to freak out. "Hey. I'm William and you're Ella right?" William asked. "Yeah." I replied. "Mitch was bragging how you play three sports. That is amazing." He said. "Wow. Thank you. I guess I worked hard on all of them and now here I am." I said. "Do you think you can go to the Olympics someday?" William asked. "Yeah maybe. I don't know which sport I would go for though." I replied.  Then we ordered our food. "I will take the chicken Alfredo." I told the waitress.  While we were eating, someone spoke up. "So Ella, how long are you going to stay in Toronto." It was Auston Matthews who asked that. HE FREAKING TALKED TO ME!  "Mitch said as long as I want so I'm going to move out when I can afford an apartment or house and then I'll find one here in Toronto." I replied. I was so trying not to freak out.

When we left the restaurant, I was so glad I met the team. They were all so nice. But I knew one thing for sure. I was in love with Auston Matthews.
