A Movie Role, Harry Stole

Chapter Five
Alex's P.O.V.

   "What do you mean you're going to play the role of Ryan?" I asked. If he was going to play that role, then that means I would have to...kiss Harry.

   I gulped nervously and continued glaring at him. "But Justin and I were already playing the scenes today. And I just saw him before I came in here."

   He came over to me and patted my shoulder. I quickly went out of his touch and walked away. "That can't be because Justin was just playing the role." I turned around to face him, "How would you know?"

   He stood there smiling with his hands in his pockets. "My manager told me that they needed a role for Ryan."

   I sat on my couch and set my elbows on the top of my knees. "But the role is already taken."

   "No it's not...anymore because Justin dropped out."

   My mouth suddenly opened in surprise. Maybe he dropped out because of me? I hope not. I don't recall anything bad I've ever done to him. I've never done anything bad to my co-stars.

   "Why?" I simply asked.

   "Look, love. I understand that you still want him to play the role but he just can't. And I don't know why." My finger quickly pointed at the door so he could exit.

   He looked at me in bewilderment so I explained furthermore. "So the paparazzi won't see you leaving my trailer and that they will think that..." I trailed off, so I wouldn't explain more. I also needed some alone time to get my thoughts organized.

   I can tell that the paps are everywhere; obviously, because they like to stalk celebrities. That's one of the things I hate; they won't leave everyone alone to their business.

   He smiled mischievously, while his hand reached the door knob. "I'll be glad to kiss you in the movie." He opened the door before I could say any words, and walked outside fastly.

   Immediately standing up, I opened the door but I couldn't see him anywhere. My anger took hold of me so I calmed myself down.

   Sure, Justin is a special friend but why would he leave the movie? Probably it's something he has to take care of so he has to leave temporarily and then he will come back? Whatever it is, I hope he didn't drop out permanently.

   Grabbing my phone off the table next to me, I dialed Claire's number. After a few rings, she finally answered.

   "Hello, Alex. What's up?"

   "Did you hear about Justin dropping out of the movie?" I asked.

   "Yeah. He was such a great actor for the role, although, we don't know why he dropped out."

   "I was just going to ask you that. Oh, and guess who's taking over the role." I raked my fingers through my hair, while walking around.

   "Harry Styles." She spoke matter-of-factedly.

   "Yes! And he's a jerk!" Oops, did I just say that to her. Now she might know that something happened between us.

  

   If my agent knew this, she might already assume that we're in a relationship, which we're not.

   "What do you mean? Did something happen between you two?"
