Chapter 3

~In the morning~

I woke up to Rocky's arms wrapped around my waist. I smelled bacon. I unwrapped myself from Rocky and run to the kitchen. Well, not run, waddle. I see Stormie making bacon over the stove. ''Morning Mama Lynch!'' I say, cheerfully. ''Good morning, Honey. How are you feeling?'' she asks. ''Good, I guess.'' I reply.  Rocky walks in. ''Morning, Mom. Morning, Babe.'' he says through a yawn. ''Morning.'' Stormie and I say at the same time. Stormie puts a plate of bacon in front of both me and Rocky. The rest come into the kitchen to receive bacon.  ''Hey, Mom, can Natalia come over today?'' Riker asks. ''Sure, Honey.'' she replies.Riker runs out of the room. Probably to call Nat. ''So, Myka, what do you want to do today?'' Rocky asks, sweetly. ''I don't really care.'' I reply. ''Why don't we go to the beach?!?'' Ross asks. ''That's a great idea! The baby needs some sun, anyway!'' I say.Everyone goes to their rooms to get ready.

~At the beach~

We claimed our spots. Nat agreed to meet us here, so as soon as she arrived, all of the girls and Riker tanned, while the others surfed.  I was minded my own business when I felt a tap on my shoulder. I  turned to see a guy around my age with black hair and piercing green eyes. ''Is that a mirror in your pocket, 'cause I can totally see myself in your pants?'' the guy asks. Typical geek. ''Ok, one, I am wearing a bathing suit, not anything with pockets, and two,'' I point to the ,already forming, baby-bump. ''Looks like somebody already beat you to it!'' The guy walks away, dumbfounded.Ross walks up ''It's getting late, we should probably get going.'' he says.We all pile into the van and go home. Nat and Riker make-out most of the time, and the same with Rocky and I.
