Waiting can be hard,
waiting can be easy,
depending on what you're waiting for.
There are some things,
that everyone must wait for.
Like love, or death.
And then there are some things,
that not everybody has to wait for,
like seeing a child,
when you can only see them on weekends.
There are things
you look forward to,
like love,
and other things you dread,
and never want to happen,
like death.
But death and love
happens to everybody,
no matter who you are.
And as I write this,
I wait for both.
