Lisa POV

I woke up in the hospital with August by my side.

"Where is Chris?

"I don't know thickness.

I frown.

"How is your head? Did he do this to you?

"I have a headache and slight ringing in my ears. No Chris didn't hurt me but I don't remember who did.

(I'm lying. I remember who hit me)

"Are you sure it wasn't Chris? We both know how he can be.

"I would never put my hands on her. *Chris

Chris comes into my room with a arm full of things.

"So that's where you were at? *Lisa

"Yup. I got make sure my wifey is good. I bought clothes and food.

I smile while August mugs Chris

"So how did you find out she is here? *Chris

"Sevyn told me. *August

"Well I didn't hit her, my ex best friend/brother did.

"What? *August and Lisa

"You don't remember? *Chris

"Nope. My head hurts trying to.

"I found you on the floor and I woke you. Before you fainted, you told me that nigga hit you.

"see you as always worried about the broads being loyal but them niggas was really the problem. *August

I laugh

"True but at least he got one good friend in you. *Lisa

"Yea. *August

August gives me a look while Chris frowns. It's obviously still tension between them because August likes me.

"Well I'm going to go. Y'all call me if you need me.

"Okay, thanks for sitting with me.

"No problem thickness.

"yea thanks for stopping by. *Chris

They share a look then August leaves.

"Come cuddle with me yellow man.

"Okay baby.

He gets in the bed with me and wrap his arm around me.  Chris falls asleep on me which is the perfect opportunity to think about what happen and how am I going to handle it. Red is the one that hit me because he feels I'm messing up his plans. Apparently him and his partners in crime are trying to make Chris life hell and take his money plus maybe his life. It's basically whatever comes first. I didn't tell Chris I remember because I think Nia(his baby momma) is involved. After Red hit me, I heard him say that he is going to Nia house. I hope he is talking about another Nia but I'm not sure, which is why I won't tell Chris.

Speaking of him, his phone starts making noise.

"Damn. I was having the best sleep.

"I notice, you drooled on me.

He rolls his eyes and grab his phone. He looks at it then frowns

"What's wrong now?

"Nia being the bitch she is. She wants to get full custody because of this situation and supervised visits.

"That's bullshit. *Lisa

"Right. This ain't really my fault, its Red. I just suck at having real friends.

"Yea. Do you know where he is at?

"Nah and the rest of OHB supposedly don't know either.

"Hmm, think he left town?

"Nah.

"When is the police coming to interview me?

Knock,knock

"Come in.

Two cops walk into my room

"I'm Detective Benson and this is Green.

I giggle

"Sorry, she watches too much law & order. *Chris

"No problem. Can we ask you some questions? *Det. Benson

"Yea. Chris you should go buy some cake. Please

"Oh okay.

He leaves

Chris POV

I can't believe she didn't want me in there with her. What is she hiding?

I decide to FT Nia because I really want to see Royalty, I need to make sure she is alright even though I know she is. Royalty picks up instantly

"Daddy!

"How is my princess doing?

"I miss you and Lisa.

"I miss you too babygirl.

"Aye Ro, Where are you? your mom wants you.

Red voice is in the background

"Go to your mommy and we will talk later.

She pouts but nods. We both hang up. I group text my actual friends, family and lawyer:

"I'm about to be in jail again.

I put my phone up and get in my car.

Revenge will be mine.
