Alicia adjusted her papers and placed them in her binder as she heard the last bell ring. Finally, school's over, she thought as she picked up her purse. As Alicia left her Science classroom, Principal Burns rushed towards her in a hurry.

"Alicia, will you please take this over to Briarwood at the main office. It's confidential news," Principal Burns winked and threw the papers in Alicia's hands.

"Ugh," Alicia groaned as she grabbed her phone.

Alicia: burns is making me deliver things to briarwood. don't have to give me a ride home:(

After sending off the text to Massie, Alicia speed-walked towards Briarwood. She got there quickly and walked towards the main office to deliver the papers.

"Hi, Principal Burns told me to drop these off here," Alicia said politely to the front office lady.

"Thank you, have a nice day," The petite brunette said and walked to the back of the office. Alicia immediately called Dean to pick her up after exiting the front office.

"Dean, pick me up at Briarwood. Ok, thanks," Alicia ordered.

After hanging up, Alicia decided to wander the halls to get a good look. Briarwood was the brother school of OCD, where all the boys went to school. The last time she was there was when she was breaking into the school with the Pretty Committee to fix a camera inside a stuffed bear. And because they were going at high speeds, she didn't have enough time to admire the pristine hallways and classrooms.

Alicia looked at the pictures on the wall of the soccer team, the one her ex crush played on. She shook her head and kept on walking. As she crossed the art room entrance, a boy crashed into her.

"Hey! Watch it!" Alicia screeched as she tumbled on the floor, in 3 inch heels. When she looked up, she saw a tanned brunette boy staring wide-eyed at her. Alicia blushed and looked away.

"Sorry about that," the boy said and blushed back. After a moment of silence, he helped her off the floor.

"I'm Alicia, from OCD," Alicia introduced. Alicia waited for the comments to follow, exclaiming that she was part of the infamous Pretty Committee and was easily the most beautiful girl who went there. But she didn't get any, not even one.

"I'm Ashton, from here," Ashton offered.

"So, you like art?" Alicia squeaked. She usually thought guys doing art was lame, but this guy was attractive. Real attractive.

"Oh, yeah," Ashton blushed again.

"Why are you embarrassed?" Alicia asked.

"Cause usually cute girls like you would go for athletes. I guess I'm not used to getting attention," Ashton looked at his feet.

Alicia was used to guys calling her beautiful but when Ashton said it, it felt 10 times better. Immediately after, Alicia's phone rang. It was Dean.

"You're here? Ok, I'll be out soon," Alicia answered and hung up.

"I guess I have to go," Alicia said.

"Hopefully, I'll see you around?" Ashton asked.

"Definitely," Alicia beamed and walked out the school's main entrance. Sure enough, Dean was parked right outside. Alicia slid across the buttery seats of the limo and dumped her bag across from her.

"How was school?" Dean asked.

"It was fine, same as always," Alicia replied and yawned. She thought about Ashton and smiled to herself. He was attractive and did art.

"Shoot," Alicia whispered to herself.

"Did you say something?" Dean called from the driver seat.

"No," Alicia answered and reminder herself to keep her voice down. Alicia's heart beat fast as it thought about Ashton and Massie. Massie said that all suitable guys had to fit the 3A's. Attractive, athletic, and alpha. Sure Ashton fit the attractive part but he was far from alpha. Massie wouldn't approve.

Maybe she should just let it go. Most fights between her and Massie usually started because of boys. Alicia didn't want another fight to start because of that.

"I'll just have to avoid him. Then I can manage," Alicia comforted herself. But after only two minutes, her heart started beating fast again. Boom-Boom-Boom. Ash-ton, Ash-ton, Ash-ton.
