Opposite Twin(Yui's Sister)

Walking with Subaru...

After I left Yui's room with Laito watching over her, I walked outside in the rose gardens to find Subaru, but as I was searching for him, I got so fascinated by the beautiful sight of the enchanting roses.

As I admire the beautiful view of roses, I heard a growl from the white haired vampire.

"What are you doing here?"

I turned myself around to see Subaru standing right before me as he glares at me, I responded.

"I was just walking around admiring the view...Do you want to join me?"

I politely asked as I reached out my arm out to Subaru smiling at him, he rolled his eyes and looks away lightly blushing.

"S-Sure whatever..."

While we're walking around the roses gardens, none of us haven't talk about an hour until I softly breathe from my nostrils as I turned my head to Subaru, I politely asked him.

"Subaru...why did you give Yui a knife?"

I asked curiously as he didn't respond to my question, I stared at him with seriousness.

"You don't have to say it if you're-"

"I gave her that knife for a reason."

He said it as he cuts off my question, he slowly narrows his eyes down to the ground while we're still walking, I asked him once more.

"Tell me the reason Subaru."

"Why would you care about a hideous monster like me?"

"Because I do Subaru."

I said it intently as he stays silent for a minute and starts talking again.

"...I gave her that knife because I want her to stab me with it, but she's too hesitant to do that. Then I told her if she if she is incapable of doing that, she should use it to end herself."

He said it as he looks at me with intensity, I looked straight at his red eyes gleaming from the moonlight where I slowly cupped my hands on his cheeks.

"Subaru, listen to me. You are not a monster, you are a damaged individual who feels so worthless because you don't feel love, you feel pain inside, and you feel like you deserve that kind of life. A cold loner who doesn't want to associate with anybody because he doesn't want to get hurt."

I earnestly told him as he looks at me with eyes gleaming with softness and gentleness, he then pulls me into his chest and puts his face to my ear softly whispering into my ear.

"..You mentioned about the dream you saw that night. About me looking at my mother....Do you know why I did that?"

"....Subaru...What happened to your mother?"

I asked curiously as he stayed silent for a second, he slowly lifts his head and said it to my ear.

"....HE is the reason why my mother never loved me...because...I was a product of incest between my mother and my father..."

"Subaru..."

I then hugged him back and I break off the hug where I told him slowly while gazing at him with seriousness.

"If there's something bothering you, you can always talk to me about it. I will always listen to you and I will always be you like an older sister and protect you from harm."

I said it as Subaru grabbed both of my shoulders, looked at me with intense red eyes.

"I don't want you to protect me Yumi, I want to protect you and your sister from getting hurt."

He then embraces me tightly and whispers into my ear.

"Please Yumi, leave this place. Leave before it's too late."

I then embraced him as well and told him earnestly.

"I can't do that Subaru. I can't leave because if I do leave, I can't go back to the church and I'll don't know where to go....because I love Reiji and I love him so so much. I can't leave him heartbroken like that. If I did, I will regret it and that will make me selfish. So that's why I want to be by his side forever and ever in all loving eternity."

I wholeheartedly said it as Subaru slowly formed a smile, he slowly lets go of me while gazing at me with soft gentleness.

"You really are special Yumi. I'm glad that Reiji finally found someone who can melt his heart because ever since you came to the house, you changed us completely, you warm our hearts with your intelligence but loving warmth inside and I've been keeping this warmth and love since you came here. Even though I admired you, I won't interfere with your relationship with Reiji."

I then smiled warmly at him.

"Thank you Subaru, I'm glad you're smiling again."

He then softly chuckles.

"No thanks to you. I bet Reiji is blushing and dumbfounded right now."

"Hm?"

I tilt my head confusingly where Subaru him out by his name.

"Hey Reiji, you heard that? She said she loves you and wants to be with you."

"Huh? Gah!"

I turned and shocked to see Reiji appeared behind the bushes as I blushed furiously at my words, he came and embraced me. Then he kissed me on the forehead and whispers flirtatiously into my ear.

"You know how much I love you Yumi and your so beautiful when your blushing my beautiful butterfly."

He said it as I covered my face onto his chest blushing by his adorable but seductive teasings, he smirks at my reaction while Subaru is standing there laughing at my reaction, I slowly looked at him innocently.

"U-Umm...h-how long you been hiding there?"

I asked politely while still feeling hot in my cheeks, Reiji lightly chuckles and answered sweetly.

"Long enough my butterfly."

Once again I blushed even more when he said it so seductively, this made Subaru laugh even more.

After he stops laughing, Reiji stops teasing me where he lets go of me.

"Let's go back inside ok?"

Both me and Subaru nodded as started walking back to the mansion, smiled at a now smiling Subaru where said to myself.

It looks like Subaru isn't such a hothead after all.
