The Aftermath

Yumi's POV:
It was 12:53 pm at school where I just joined the library staff and I started to put the returned books in the shelves. However, there's one problem...Reiji is here in the library reading his book, but I can feel like he's staring at me. While I was sorting out books, I lost my step when I reached the other book, I felt an arm wrapped around my body.

I look up to see Reiji holding me in a bridal style where he looks at my in the eye.

"Be careful next time understand?"

He calmly asked as I nodded politely at him.

"Yes..I will. My apologies Reiji."

I said politely as Reiji smiled warmly at me, he gently puts me down.

"There's something I want asked you Yumi."

He said politely as I tilt my head curiously at him.

"What is it Reiji?"

I asked him curiously as he gently pushed his glasses up, he asked.

"Would you be kind if I let you escort to a date?"

I blinked twice at Reiji's request to go on the date with him.

"Is there something the matter?"

He asked curiously as I gently shake my head no, I pushed my glasses up.

"No it's just that no man has ever asked me out before."

"You never?"

He asked as I nodded at him.

"No. I would always study for school or watch anime whenever I'm not busy."

I said as I felt a hug from Reiji, I look up to see him smiling warmly at me.

"Well this is your first time of going out with a man like me. So will you be the honor of being your escort tonight?"

He asked as he lightly kissed me in the forehead smiling at me, I couldn't help but smiled back at him and nodded.

"It would be an honor to be your date Reiji."

I replied sweetly as I hugged him warmly, the two of us were embracing in the library nonstop until we got interrupted by the librarian who was glaring at us this whole time.

"Could you please put away the books?"

She asked annoyingly as I immediately broke out the embrace.

"Oh right! Please forgive me!"

I lightly bowed down to her as an apology. Then I turned to Reiji with a smile and told him.

"We'll do this after school alright?"

I smiled innocently with Reiji nodded his head smiling at me.

Then I went back to my job with Reiji helping me with the books. Awwww how sweet!

After we got back from school, I was in my room changing into somewhat formal black dress and a black pearl necklace. I'm not the type of person who has a sense of fashion, but I'm also excited about going out with Reiji for the first time.
