Chapter 5: Shizaya? You Will Be Okay!

I kept running and running. Since the beanie on my head was made from a thin material, I could easily hear as if I didn't have it on in the first place. And what I heard was footsteps running to catch up behind me. Lucky for me, being half wolf and half bird, I was able to run faster and practically cut through the air that was all around me. "Get back here!!!" Sasuke yelled. "Teme, leave her alone!!" Naruto shouted behind him. I need to make it to the hospital!! I thought. After what Pain told me, I wanted to only be at the hospital and not anywhere else. "Hey (Y/N), get your ass back over here!!!" Sasuke yelled. Even if I wanted to confront him, I didn't have the time. I kept running and running. Then, I saw the hospital in site. "Finally!!" I mumbled as the two boys kept running after me. I ran into the hospital and got to the front desk. "Hi, I am (Y/N) Sundale. I am here for my little brother, Shizaya Sundale. Please check me in so I can see him!" I said in a rush. "Yes ma'am. He is in room 7." The lady at the front said. "Thank you!" I said and ran off.

But just as I was about to take off, Sasuke and Naruto showed up at the same moment. When they see me, Sasuke started to chase after me so I run into room 7. As I run to room 7, slam open the door. What I saw...will always haunt me...I saw, a doctor and a bunch of other people trying to revive Shizaya, who's heart monitor was showing a straight line. I felt my legs give out under me as I slowly fell to the ground. "GET HIM SECRUE!!!" and "CLEAR!!" these are the things I heard. However, they felt faded. "(Y/N)!! Get up, what are you on the floor for...oh.." I heard Sasuke's voice but just like everything else, it was faded. "What? What's going...oh.." I heard Naruto ask as well. I felt something wet going down my cheeks. With one hand I wipe whatever it was off and grab the threshold of the door with the other hand.

"Listen, you have to help him! Please, he is my younger brother!!" I say trying to get the people's attention. "She is the sister?! Someone get her out of here!" The doctor said. One of the nurses walked up to me. "Please wait in the waiting room. You should not be here." the nurse lady said. "I-I...H-he. He is my brother," I said with a stern expression. "I am not going anywhere." I looked into her eyes. I felt something change a bit and I am sure the lady saw it. She gasped and looked at mw with fright. "Y-Your eyes..." was all she said and I got the message. I calmed down a bit. "You better save him or else." was all I said and walked away to the waiting room. "(Y/N), tell us what the hell is going on." Sasuke said. I just stayed quite. Should I tell them in my own way? Or should I stay quite and act innocent?

So many things are going on. Is this why Pain wanted me out of school? Maybe I should call... I got up from my seat. "Oi! You haven't answered my question! What is going on?" Sasuke yelled at me. "Teme, leave her. Look, all we know is her brother might die. Give her some space." Naruto said trying to hold Saskue back. I walk out the hospital to the front and pull out my phone. I quickly dial Itachi's number and put the phone to my ear. "Hello?" I heard his voice. "Itachi, they are tying to stabilize Shizaya. He....he might not make it..." I said trying not to cry. "Do you need to come over? My brother is not home yet." Itachi offered. "That's because your brother is on to me. In fact, him and his friend Naruto followed me to the hospital." I said holding myself. "What?! I didn't know. Then again, it's my brother. I'll distract him so you can be alone." Itachi states.

"Ok, I'll talk to you later." I said and hanged up. I walk back to the hospital. I see Sasuke on his phone. I guess Itachi already got to work. I thought. "Naruto, my brother wants us to pick up some stuff from the store." Sasuke says in a monotone voice. Thanks Itachi!!! I thank in my head. "Sundale, this is not over." Sasuke says and walks by me. "Later, (Y/N)!" Naruto says. However, while Sasuke walks past me, with my sharp eyes, I thought I saw a faint blush on Sasuke's face. I wonder what that was about. "Miss Sundale. We need to talk to you about you little brother." I immediately turned to the doctor. "What is it?! Tell me!" I said grabbing the doctor by his collar. "We think...you should see him...before he moves on..." the doctor says sadly. I coudln't believe what he was saying so I rush to room 7 and quickly go to the side of the bed where Shizaya was. "O-onee-chan?" he managed out trying to grasp at the air.

I quickly put my hand in his tiny ones. "Yes, Shiza? I'm here." I say holding his hand. "I am...k-kinda...c-cold..." he said. When he says this, his hands start to loosen a bit in our grip. "Shizaya? You will be okay! Listen to me, your big sister will always be here for you!!" I say. I wanted this to be a bad dream so badly! "On...ee...-....ch...a...n...." and after that, Shizaya didn't say anything. I lost the one I was fighting for, the one who was left to love me, the reason I lived, I lost everything. Everything I was, everything I cared for, in on person, was all gone. I felt as if time froze. Everything didn't matter. I felt nothing, heard nothing, and I saw my little brother. Dead in front of me. Everything, gone. The doctors rushed in at the straight sound of the monitor. "Please, we need you out of the room. We need to take his body out of here." The doctor said. So I did his job for him.I grabbed my brothers body and ran out the hospital.

"I won't let anyone touch you, Shiza!"
