Kassi's P.O.V.
I flew out to LA with my girls to go see about college and stuff, but I didn't want to make it all about school. A small plan formed in the back of my mind as I dragged them around Cali.
When I say I dragged them around it was pretty literal. Liz and Hope wanted to stop everywhere and take pictures, Lizzie was looking around for Get Shaved, but I never told any of them what I was planning. They were pretty shocked at how calm I was about being in LA.
"Seriously, I think the only school any of us would be interested in is Bishop Alemany. *cough* Liz *cough*" Hope joked. Liz stuck her tongue out at her and we all laughed.
I just finished applying and then we drove "back to the hotel" wink wink.
Lizzie turned the radio up and we all shouted song lyrics with fists high in the air. I made sure they didn't suspect a thing. I was taking them to Get Shaved!
Just then my car started spitting out smoke and slowing down. I start talking to my car. "No. No. Not now baby. Please?!" We all started to chime in, but it was to no avail. We broke down.
The four of us piled out of the car and looked around. "Uhh. Kas," Liz frowns. "The hotel's that way." She points the opposite direction to where we were going. "I know." I huff. "Huh?" Lizzie says. "Oh C'Mon. Get Shaved is that way!" Hope said pointing in the direction we were going. "Ooh...awww!! Thanks Kassi!" The two Lizzie's say in unison and hug me.
"Don't thank me we're still trapped out here." I say, frustrated. "Hey let's be a little optimistic. R5 could show up!" Hope says, and we sit and look at each other for a few seconds then burst into fits of laughter. "Do you honestly believe that..." Lizzie trails off. We all look at her, but then the direction of where she was looking.
No way... huh wait... how? Was that... yup. Rocky Lynch standing right behind Hope. Liz had her jaw hung wide open and Hope just looked at us weird. "Guys?" she nervously laughed. "what's going on?" None of us said a word. Lizzie was just dazed, Liz was trying hard not to laugh, and I was trying hard not to faint.
"Hi. I saw you guys needed help." Hope turns around and fell backwards, Liz had quick reflexes and caught her in mid fall. "Oh My God." I thought, but I quickly got up cleared my throat. "Yeah, we broke down and we could really use a ride... and a phone."
I look in his eyes oh my...their so pretty in person. Like a dark hazel. They're just amazing. It took me a minute, but I realized that I was starting up at him. "I'll give you lovely ladies a ride to my house so you can call a tow truck." We all blushed. Especially me.
None of us mentioned that we had our phones.
We all got to the Lynch household and Rocky introduced us. "Guys this is Liz, Lizzie, Hope, and last but not least Kassi!" We all looked around at each other then our favorite people in the world. "Unbelievable." Lizzie muttered under her breath when she saw Riker walk in.
"Well, hey there." Riker said looking at Lizzie and ignoring the rest of us. "H-h-hi." Lizzie blushed. Ross and Ryland walked in and Liz asked where the phone was. "In the kitchen." Rocky smiled at her, then looked at me again.
I want to scream, but I hold my composure and follow Liz into the kitchen. "Did you see the way he looked at you?!?!" Liz said when we were in the vacant kitchen as the TV played in the background to lull us out. "Rasky feels!" she said and jumped up and down like a child. I roll my eyes at her.
"Did you see the way Ry looked at you?!" I fire back to my southern friend. "He looked at me?" She said with eyes growing wide. I give her a "wasnt it obvious?" look and we both went for the phone. "So..." Liz trailed off. "Phonebook?" she laughed.
I laughed and went back to the livingroom. "Uhh, may Liz and I have a phonebook?" I say shyly to Stormie. "Oh of course sweetheart!" she smiles and hands me the phonebook sitting on the table by the couch. I look around to see Ross and Hope talking to each other about God knows what, Lizzie and Riker giggling, and Rocky, Ryland, and Rydel bickering. I thank Stormie, steal a quick look at Rocky and see him looking at me, blush, and walk back into the kitchen.
"Ooh.." I think Ryland chuckled from the distance. "Oh shut up." Rocky laughed. "What about you and blondie?" Rydel added. "Oh like she'd like me." He sighed/ laughed That earned a roar of laughter from Lizzie and Hope as I enter the kitchen.
Liz was just standing in the kitchen clutching the reciever. "Did he just say-" I shake my head and laugh. "Yes, now focus so some psycho doesn't steal my car." We look through the phonebook and call the towing company. "Perfect,okay." Liz said, irritated. "Oh well we'll send your car here, but you have to get it tomorrow, because we're closing." She said mocking the lady on the other end using a nasaly voice. "Really?" I sigh. "Yeah I tried Kas, but I just couldn't deal with--" I cut her off with a hug. "It's alright bee."
"Well, I guess you guys are staying." A voice came from the door. We both jumped about thirty feet in the air and saw Stormie smiling at us. "Oh no we couldn't.." We protested the generous offer, but Stormie insisted. "I don't want to send you walking." She chuckles. "It's getting late anyway." She grins and we laugh and go into the livingroom with everyone else.
Rydel sees us and gets up. "You can sit here...Kassi, right?" she says to me with a smirk. "Yes ma'am." I laugh. "And you're Liz?" She asks the ash blonde at my side. "Yes doll." Liz turned up the southern charm a smidge. "I love your accent." Liz laughed. "Lizzie?" She pointed to my brown haired blue eyed friend sitting next to Riker. "Yes!" She blushed. "Hope!" She pointed to the girl turning bright red hiding behind Ross.
We all got passed the introductions and we sat on the couch arranged in this order; Rydel, Riker Lizzie, Rocky, Me, Ross, Hope with Liz awkwardly sitting at Lizzie's feet and Ryland sitting in the chair beside us. We were all talking about how we were out here for college stuff and how it was luck for Rocky to find us where we were. We all just watched movies and had an awesome time. Somehow we all ended up sprawled out on the floor in pairs. Me and Rocky, Ross and Hope, Lizzie and Riker, and Ryland and Liz.
Rydel went 'out with Lori' but she texted me and told me she was on her first date with a guy named Noah. Woah..
Towards the end of the night Rocky turned towards me and we locked eyes for longer than two seconds. I couldn't look away at all, which was kind of weird sice I'd been trying to avoid his gaze all night.
"Hey gorgeous." he smiles and I giggle. "Hello handsome." He blushes (aaaaahhh he's so cute when he blushes) and we move in closer to each other Riker and Lizzie throw pillows at us and say "get a room" in unison.
Rocky just laughed and pulled me in for a kiss. Liz and Hope were freaking and Lizzie was just laughing. Then the rest of the night we all cuddled in comfortable silence.
