Shoutout to XxWhiteYvonnexX for this pretty cool and chill challenge that she sent towards her readers. I'm gonna try my very best to keep this story friendly towards teens of 12 and up when it comes to language and other things. Anyways let's get on towards the story.
Ps: I'm gonna exclude Bonnie and Clemont from this story for the most part, not for any particular reason, but to stick to the Amourshipping's purpose. Also my plot is gonna be different from the final episode. If you have a problem with it, then try to pull through with it. Anyways, on to the story!

Serena was frozen like a statue as the escalator lazily rolled her down towards the bottom of the building, she never took her eyes off the young teen who she had shared her first kiss with.

Their eyes landlocked like the ancient land of Pangaea began splitting apart as time ticked away ever so slowly. Tick tock, tick tock.

The young teens stared into each other's eyes for what seemed like an eternity. Each passing second tearing the heart of the blonde girl with the ocean blue eyes.

"Oh Ash, must it be true, must the ending actually exist in our lives."

Serena's reminiscence didn't reach the ears of the young group watching Serena tread down the escalator, she was too far for anyone to here her passing words, her passing thoughts, her passing heart.

Time had successfully accomplished the plan of taking Serena away from the friends she had known for so long. She was now down the escalator and Ash, Clemont, and Bonnie had walked away from the top of the escalator. Serena, for the first time since the very beginning of her journey was now truly alone. It didn't hit her at first, but like a hurricane making a direct course towards land, it never fails to hit the target.

Meanwhile with Ash and co. Ash collected his thoughts on the event which just unfolded in front of his eyes.

"Serena kissed me" he thought

It was like a foreign thought had entered his mind. He never would've guessed such a thing could ever happen. How such a thing could ever exist in this world.

He never thought of Serena as anything more than a friend and he still felt like the idea of just a friend was the correct title for Serena, but he reconsidered if such a title was true.

"Was Serena the one for me? Did I just let my golden girl slip away from my grasps for the rest of my life? No! I couldn't have!"

Ash continued to punish himself with these questions that were hurting his heart. Every passing question popping his heart of air, slowly ever so slowly deflating.

"Clemont, you don't think-

"Ash, I don't know how to tell you this, but you let go of something truly special. And frankly I don't think you're ever going to find another girl who's as special as Serena"

"Clemont please. I came up with that conclusion when I was watching Serena go down the escalator."

Slowly Ash's voice began to quiver

"I'm a fool Clemont."

"Ash we all know this, tell us something we don't know" replied the little girl known as Bonnie

Ash offended by the crude remark lashed the question

"And what is that supposed to mean?!"
