Cake

"who is Harper!" I asked Dylan again. He shook his head. "You have to ask Micah but it would upset him alot" he replied then slyly found a way out of the conversation and ran upstairs. maybe thats it. if it upsets him it could be his best friend or someone close to him. I remeber at the camping trip.

I found Kaito and Lydia in my room just talking. I walked through the door quietly. "Hey" Lydia said sweetly. "im sorry about earlier" She added. I shook my head. "there is nothing to be sorry about" I replied. I grabbed her hand and she stood up from the bed and hugged me. "I like cooking. I could help you bake a cake." I said. I asked Kaito if he wanted to help us and he agreed.

We went down to the kitchen and researched a recipe for a chocolate sponge cake. I got out all the ingredients with Kaito and Lydia pre- heated the oven.

Lydia's P.O.V.
After we made the batter Lucy went to go get a cake tin and left me and Kaito in the kitchen. He lent against the side with his arms crossed. "you gotta loosen up" I said to Kaito. His eyebrows furrowed for a second or two. I washed my hands under the sink then completley drying them off. I dipped my index finger into the batter mix then quickly smeared it onto Kaito's cheek. "right. thats it" He said looking quite calm which was weird. He grabbed a handful of flour and threw it at me. I took a chunk of butter and wiped over his shirt. he grabbed my wrist pulling me closer to him. I opened my eyes to see his face only a few centimeters away from mine. I had an urge to press my lips against his closing the gap but i didnt have the guts. "Ahem" a boys voice clearing his throat behind us.

I spun on my heels realising Calum stood behind me. "Your too young to have a boyfriend Lydia. You Keta what ever your stupid name is stay away from my sister." He said possesivly. He grabbed my wrist. I have had enough of him. I really have.
I didnt know what I was saying. I was angry. But then I snapped. "Just because Lucy is in love with Micah and not you doesnt mean you have to take it out on me you are just like dad!" I almost yelled. What did I just say. tears were about to fall across my cheek. I barged past Calum not even being able to apologise to him.

I ran up the stairs leaving Calum stood staring blankly at the floor.

Lucy's P.O.V.
I walked back into the kitchen where igredients was flung everywhere. I saw Calum staring at the floor in the kitchen. "Whats wrong?" I asked him. He turned on his heels and dragged himself up the stairs. I walked up to Kaito. "what happened in here?" I asked. trying to find an awnser from someone. "there was a minor food fight between me and Lydia" He said smiling slightly. His smile then vanished. "then she and Calum got in a fight. a pretty bad one too." he explained. He quickly poured the cake mix in the tin then putting it in the oven. I set a timer on my phone and we both wondered upstairs to find Lydia.

"Kaito? what exactly happened?" I asked quietly as we walked down the hallways to get to Lydia's room. "She said i need loosen up and she put cake mix on my cheek. we started to mess about with the ingridients throwing them at each other just for fun and then I grabbed her wrists and pulled closer to me because she almost burnt herself on the oven. Our faces were so close together. I had an urge to kiss her but I didnt have the guts and thats when Calum came in started yelling at us he thought I was her boyfriend and he took it out on her then she had ago at him because he was jelous that you are in love with Micah instead of him and then she said he was just like their dad." He said getting quiter near the end.

When we got to her door I heard her crying. I walked through the doorway and sat next to her. She hugged me tightly. "I know what happened" I said to her sweetly. she lent into me and rested her head on my sholder. I rubbed her back to calm her down. "so, biscuit the cakes almost ready and we need someone to taste it. can you do that." I asked trying to cheer her up. She jumped up from the bed and dragged me with her. "lets go eat cake." she said.

My alarm went off for the cake and Kaito grabbed the cake out of the oven and turned it off. He put it on the side and popped it on a plate taking off the silicone cake tin. He coverd it in chocolate butter icing. and i walked over to the knife draw ready to cut the cake.Some one put there hands on the side either side of me trapping me in the middle. I felt the warmth of his breath send chills down my spine. "Micah, Im cooking" I said sweetly. I turned on my heels to see...
