Peach's P.O.V.
We were walking along. I stood next to Mario, our hands intertwined. "I can't wait till all of this is over and we fight for pure fun" "and competitively" Sonic added in. I chuckled, I leaned my head on Mario's shoulder. "So far it's-" "What is that?!" "- peaceful.." I sighed and looked over at where Sonic was pointing. It was a big dark castle. It looked like a dark version of my castle. "Lets find out" I started walking towards it. Mario grabbed my arm, "Wait, you don't know what dangers are in there" "I'll tell you what's in there, the thing that did this! We need to stop it and save everyone else!" I slipped my hand from his grasp. I continued marching toward the castle. "Whatever's in there it's going down. Hard." "Princess Peach, wait up" Samus caught up to me. "I got you back" I smiled a little.
We arrived at the castle. I walked up to the door. "What are you gonna do? Knock?" Shadow stood next to me. The big doors opened, "looks like I don't have to" I walked inside. They all followed behind me. The doors slammed shut, "hahaha!" The laugh echoed throughout the room. A dim light lit up the whole room. "Hahaha!" A dark figure came out from behind one of the pillars. "Mwahaha, well well, here at last are we" it stepped forward, "let's just get rid of the casualties first, shall we?" It snapped and the floor fell from behind. A hole with lava at the bottom separated me, Mario, Samus, Shadow and Maria from Bowser and Sonic. "Wha-?" It snapped it's fingers again and Maria collapsed on the ground. "Maria!" Shadow ran over and cradled her while sitting on his knees.
"Well, that takes care of that" me, Mario and Samus stood in a battle stance. "Well, three versus one isn't fair now is it?" It turned it's head and creepily smiled. Samus stepped forward to fight, It whipped out a big paintbrush and sent Samus flying across the room. "Then again, your all no match for me" it cackled once more. I flung myself at it, it hit me down. "Ugh!" Mario came and helped me up. Samus stood next to us, "let's all attack at once" we all lunged at it trying to get it down. It swung and hit Samus again. I managed to land a few hits actually, it swung it's brush and hit me down. "Hahah" it slashed it's brush at Mario.
He turned transparent and like painted water. He fell backwards and turned into a painting on the ground. "Mario!!" I ran over to him. Samus tried attacking it while its guard was down. She failed and almost fell in the lava pit. Bowser grabbed her before she fell, "well well little princess" it threw some dirty watery stuff at the rest of them. They slowly were melting into paintings. "NO!" My eyes teared up and my vision got blury. "Game Over!"
