The Storm chaser

Chapter 1

Leah excitedly jumped out of bed. Today there was a high possibility of tornados in Oklahoma and Leah was super excited to go chase them. She grabbed her backpack, water bottle, and camera and got into her black pickup truck. She turned on her favorite song and started singing along and dancing, she was super excited for the day ahead. She starts driving toward the huge thunderstorm cloud ahead once she gets close enough she pulls over and gets out of her truck and starts to see a funnel cloud form and then it touches down. Leah starts jumping around and taking pictures. she yells yay my first tornado! The tornado goes farther and farther in the distance away from Leah. She gets in her truck and starts driving away. The drive is a couple hours long and by 9:30 it is pitch black outside. It is also misty so Leah can't really see where she is going. She keeps driving though. She checks her clock and it says 11:49. wow it's taking way more than two hours to get back. There are no building near her and all she can see is the long winding country roads ahead. About twenty minutes later she spots a small beat down looking fast food place. The sigh says it is open all night so she walks in a orders something to eat and gets her smart phone to find out where she is. She is about to start looking when she notices a very good looking guy sitting in a table in the corner of the place doing the exact same thing as her. He looks up catching her eye and asks are you a chaser too ? Leah responds yes and then Leah and the guy sat down together and get to know each other. They found out that they had a lot in common. But after a while the guy told Leah that he had to get going but they should chase together sometime. Driving back to her house Leah couldn't stop thinking about the mysterious guy who she had so much in common with. She really hoped she would see him again and that he would text her because she gave him her number. She had never met someone who had so much in common with her.
