One year later.....
"Athalia! Wake up! You are late for school!"
Athalia quickly awoke from her sleep, eyes darting across the room, trying to decipher what is happening. "What? I'm late? Oh no, I gotta get dressed fast!" She hopped out of bed and quickly took a look at the calendar across her room and realized what's going on. "Hey, unfair! It's only Sunday! I have 24 more hours before that torture arrives tomorrow morning."
"But I need you to come with me to the store. I need to pick up a few things before you leave," her mother said.
"You're saying is that you are going to drive me to the market, have me use my watch to steal some more things for you, and drive me back here, is that right?"
"You know me so well." The woman said with a smile.
"What do I need to get this time?"
"Some food would be great. I would buy it myself if the market wasn't so unreasonably priced these days."
"Alright, should be easy," Athalia said. "But you have got to start actually purchasing items instead of having me steal it for you. I am going to school tomorrow and I will not be coming back till break. I will not always be around to get you things."
"Yes, I know. I will."
"Good. Now let's go before it gets too occupied."
Athalia and her mother walked to their car and began to drive to the market. It was a fairly warm autumn day with a slight breeze. The leaves and grass danced with the wind as it whistled in Athalia's ear. The clouds moved fast above, occasionally hiding the sun from the earth.
Athalia was a young girl, at age 16, but she tried to act older. Her small appearance and soft features hid her fiery personality and headstrong mind to make her a mystery to everyone who doesn't know her. She had bright blue eyes that sparkled every time she talked about something she loves. Athalia has wavy dark brown hair that goes below her shoulders and fair skin that gleams in the sun. Although she's very beautiful, she doesn't care about looks, and she hardly notices her own.
"Okay, what do I need to get?" asked Athalia when they got to the market.
"Just the normal, small things so you won't get caught," her mother replied. "Like that pumpkin over there and that delicious, three layered cake."
Athalia stared at her mother in disbelieve, but when the woman saw her face, she just laughed.
"I'm just kidding, Thal. A few apples, some kinds of meats, and water jugs will do."
"Alright, how long do you think that will take me?" Athalia asked, looking down at her watch.
"I don't know, ten minutes?"
"I'll set it to fifteen just to be sure."
Athalia moved the minute hand on her watch to fifteen minutes from now. It stopped in its place and didn't move while her body turned invisible. All you could see now was her clothes around her moving as she did.
"That never ceases to amaze me," Athalia's mother said in astonishment.
Then Athalia started to take off her clothes, so she was totally invisible. It made her uncomfortable, but she did it anyway. After she did it, no one could know where she is unless they felt or heard her. It was an easy (and fun) way to spy around.
"Wish me luck," Athalia said.
"You don't need it, you have been sneaking before you could talk," her mother told her.
She couldn't see it, but Athalia smiled at her mother. It was a mischievous one, but a smile nonetheless. Then the car door opened randomly and then closed once again. Athalia ran towards the market.-------------------------------------------------------
