Into The Shadows

Chapter:2

The man chased them into an alley. He held up his gun. Police sirens start ringing in the distance. Then the man grabbed Rose and disappeared into the shadows. "Where did they go?" James wondered aloud, "And why didn't he take me?" The police came to the scene and asked James a few questions, but the police found no evidence of the crime. James was very sad and hurt by the fact that Rose was gone. Everyone thought that she would be gone for good, but James couldn't. He just couldn't believe it. He decided that he would look for Rose even if it took the rest of his life. So he started his quest that he expected to take forever.
