Because You Love Me

Painful Experience

It was early in the morning. Serena had gone on a morning walk. The night before, when she was walking alone, Calem hadn't been seen.

I thought that it would be nice to get some fresh air before the day really started. I was on my way home while feeling happy that Calem seemed to have forgotten about me.

However, I was about to find out that he didn't forget me...In fact, he could never forget about me...What he did to me was something that no young girl shouldn't have to deal with in their lifetime.

As Serena approached an alleyway, her phone went off.

She grabbed it from her pocket and saw that Ash had texted her. His text reads, 'good morning'. Serena smiled. She was typing and walking forward.

When she passed the alleyway, she had finished her message and was about to send it. Before she could, however, a pair of hands appeared from behind her, as they grabbed her.

As she was about to scream, one of the hands covered her mouth and prevented her from moving. Her phone was dropped.

Serena knew what was happening. She was being kidnapped! She attempted to break free; however, before she could do anything, another pair of hands blindfolded her, limiting her abilities to see her surroundings.

As she was dragged backward, most likely into the alley, her eyes began forming tears. She didn't know who it was, but she was fairly certain that she knew who was behind this.

She never thought this would happen to her. She thought she would be fine. Right now, she is wishing that she never left her house this morning. She wished that Ash was here, to save her from these cruel people.

After a few seconds, Serena was set down. The hand moved away from her mouth, but she was quickly gagged, preventing her screams from being heard.

Shortly afterward, Serena's ankles got tied together, to limit her ability to walk. Then, they tied her wrists behind her back, to prevent her from fighting back against her kidnappers.

Serena was scared. Extremely scared. She didn't know what the two people had in store for her. All she wanted was to be home, sitting with Ash.

Before long, she felt a pain on her arm. Then, multiple others...each dealing more pain than the last. She knew what was happening now. She knew what the people had in store for her. Almost...

As one of them continues to beat the defenseless girl, while laughing quietly, she gets scratched once on the face.

She was crying. But no one could hear her screams. She was in pain, she was really suffering, but no one was around to save her from this torture, being inflicted upon her by these cruel and horrible people. She felt like she was going to die....but no one knew...

Serena wanted it all to stop. She wanted all her pain and suffering to go away. She wanted it to be just a horrible nightmare... She wanted everything to end. Just everything.

As she was getting beaten up, her consciousness finally began to fade away. Serena thought this was it...The end of her lifetime. She was thinking that she would die young.

As her consciousness continued to go away, she started to lose strength. She was clenching her hands into fists tightly, but her fists were getting loose.

Eventually, Serena just gave up. She stopped trying to remain awake. She relaxed her body and let it come. Let the blackness take over her vision.

She felt one last hit. It was harder than the rest. She could hear and feel her bone snap in half. It would have hurt, only she couldn't feel anything anymore...

Right then and there....after all the pain inflicted upon her, she had lost all consciousness. There was nothing, but the cold darkness blinding her vision...

That bad day, that horrible memory, that tragic moment in my life, still haunts me to this very day...
