Part 6: Stay?

('Play the music: Stay' in reading this part. Muwah.)

My flight is today. I didn't even get the chance to see her for the last time. I think it's for the best that she wouldn't know, I don't want to see her cry.

I'm on my way to the airport. My parents didn't even bother to take me there, stupid parents. From now on I still have this judge grudge on them.

Today is Saturday so there's no traffic on the road. I have arrived to the airport earlier than my flight. It's a good thing that I have my MP3.

I'm gonna miss her.

-----------------

We received the news yesterday that Señor Ricardo has given back our field and he also paid it for us. My heart starts to beat fast as a heard the news, I don't know why.

I'm still in my bed, I think I don't wanna get up. I miss him so bad. If I only had the courage to fight for him.

"ate Princess, ate Princess." From my bedroom I heard my little brother.

"Yes, what is it?" I ask him as he get inside.

"Kuya Miko is leaving the town." Those words didn't sink in my mind. Why? Why is he leaving?

"When?"

"Now. His on the airport."

As soon as I heard it, I get up from my bed and change a comfy t-shirt. I didn't bother to tell my parents since they are busy. I graph some money from my piggy bank and go.

I hop in inside the taxi and good thing that there's no traffic. I have arrived in the airport. When I get inside I started looking for him. My tears started rolling down my face when I saw that he's not in the waiting area.

'Passengers, the plane to Singapore will be leaving in 30 minutes, please get inside immediately, thank you.'

Miko, why do you have to leave me?

My eyes are blurry because of my tears. I'm losing hope. I'm starting to walk out from the airport when..

"Princess!" That voice, even though I'm not looking at him, I know who owns that voice. The voice that makes my heart skip a beat. My eyes watered once more. I slowly turn around to look at him.

"Miko!" I run towards him. I hug him tightly and so did he.

"Why.. Why are you leaving?" I'm still hugging him, I don't want to let him go.

"I'm just finishing my studies there, and I promise to be back for you." I know that his crying. I can feel it from his voice.

"Well you can finish your studies here, just don't go."

"No, I have to go."

"But what about me?" He faced me and touch my face.

"You can go on without me. Go for your dreams. You want to be a lawyer, right? Then go for it."

"But... But what about us?"

"I will be yours forever. If you promise me that you will be mine."

"I will always be yours. I'm just scared if you found someone better than me and you will..." He didn't let me finish my sentence. He Grabe my nape and pull me closer for a long romantic kiss. He ended the kiss and look at me in the eye.

"Never. Time pass by so quickly. It will be just a short time, and I'll come back. I promise." He smiled at me, a genuine one.

"When I come back, I swear I'm gonna marry you."

I hug him once more.

"I love you." I whispered.

"I love you too."

'20 minutes and the plane to Singapore will now depart.'

"It's time for me to go." I kiss him once more. That kiss will be our last kiss. I'm gonna miss him.

----------

As I let go of her hand, it feels like I'm also letting go of my dreams.

Other than that, I'm happy to see her for the last time. Knowing that we keep each other's promises, I will keep holding on to that time.

I'm slowly walking away from her, step by step my heart is breaking.

I'm now inside the plane, any minutes from now the plain will depart.

I'm going to continue my studies there, and when I graduate, I know that I can find a decent job, and sooner than that, I'm gonna marry her.

------------

I decided to go home. My mind is still thinking of him.
Pain. This pain will serve as my strength to keep me from striving my dream to be a successful lawyer.

When I got home, I went straight ahead to my room. This is the day I will cry hard and will be the last.

A/N:
