Breakfast

•Jacob's POV

I woke up an hour before the time Nia regularly wakes up so I could do something special for her. I felt extremely bad for laying my hands on her. I guess what my step father did rubbed off on me.

I went downstairs to the kitchen and cooked her a feast of every breakfast food she like. I heard steps coming downstairs and Makayla appeared next to me with her favorite teddy bear. I picked her up and sat her in her chair while laying Nia's stuff out.

A couple minutes later I could hear Nia's foot steps above my head. I looked at the stairwell and she came down yawning. She turned her face to me and her sleepy eyes lit up. Nia walked down the stairs looking at me.

"You're gonna make me cry." she says covering her mouth.

"So this means you're happy, correct?"

Nia nods her head but her smile suddenly goes down and she runs to the bathroom. I go after her and she was puking. I held up her hair and she wiped her mouth.

"This again." she says.

I laugh. "Nine more months."
