Chapter Eight

The boy quickly left the scene, running away from the school, camera in hand. Nearby in the trees stood a tall boy with familiar blonde eyes and glasses. He flashed a quiet smirk when the boy ran up to him.

"Here you go, Tsukishima-san." The boy said, handing him the camera.

"Good job, Kageyama~. Maybe you're not as useless as I thought...better than Yamaguchi anyway..." Tsukki said, putting the camera in his pocket.

Kageyama glared lightly at Tsukki but quickly looked away when Tsukki glanced at him.

"Was that a glare, Kageyama? After I praised you and let you live, you still hate me?" Tsukki grabbed him by his collar roughly.

"L-Let me go..." Kageyama struggled to say as Tsukki wrapped his hands around his neck.

"I should end you right now, you idiot. But sadly for you, I still need you for one last thing."

"I don't want to do this anymore....!" Kageyama said hoarsely as his face started to turn blue.

"That's what Yamaguchi said before...you know...~" Tsukki smirked, his eyes glaring him down.

Tsukki threw Kageyama down and roughly placed his foot on his throat.

"Listen here and listen well. ____ is mine. Only mine. But her and the rest of yous just don't get it. If she wants to keep seeing her friends die, that's her problem. I just simply removing the problems out of our lives. Pretty soon, she won't have anything left except for me. Until then, her heart will continue to be stubborn and won't the things I do out of love." 

"Y-You call that love...?" Kageyama said weakly. 

"Of course~. Now, come on. Back to the chair for you." Tsukki roughly grabbed Kageyama and dragged him off.

"N-No..! D-Don't take me back there...!" Kageyama pleaded as they walked off into the distance.

A few days passed once more, and each day you met up with Daichi and the rest. You and the gang thought up of many ideas to stop Tsukishima but none of them stuck. Pretty soon, you were losing hope that you would never be able to stop him.

Feeling a bit gloomy and depressed, you headed to the gym, sipping a juice lightly. You opened the gym doors and your eyes widen in surprise. Standing there, in his school uniform was Kageyama. The others were busy talking to him and asking him many questions.
Nishinoya looked toward you and smiled widely.

"____! You're here!" Nishinoya shouted, running up to you. "Look who's back!"

Kageyama perked up and turned his attention to you. His eyes looked unnatural. They were a dark gray and appeared empty; no life in them.

"___. I'm glad to see you again." Kageyama said, his voice monotone and bleak. 

There was something about Kageyama you didn't like. You automatically knew something was up.

"Is..something wrong, Kags? You don't look very well..." You asked, walking closer.

"What are you talking about?" Kageyama asked, tilting his head.

"Well first, you're not suppose to be here. I saw that picture of you with Tsukki. He kidnapped you and tortured you."

"....." He fell silent, unable to lie.

Just then, the door behind the group closed and they could hear it being locked shut. They turned their heads toward the door and there stood Tsukki himself, holding a duffel bag.
Tsukki glanced at Kageyama and, as if in a trance, he walked over to him.

"For once, one of my plans actually failed. ____, you never cease to amaze me. That's why I love you like I do." Tsukki said, smirking.

"This has gone on long enough, Tsukki. Why can't you understand that I don't like you?!" You shouted, clenching your fists.

"You're only saying that because these idiots clouded your mind. You were in my hands until that stupid Hinata interfered. Wanting to confess his pointless feelings to you...and then that traitor Yamaguchi waltzed in, acting like he could save you and himself. Too bad for him..." Tsukki rambled on.

You glared angrily at him, disgusted by his selfishness and insanity.

"No matter, we won't deal with them anymore. It's time for a bit of...extermination." Tsukki snapped his fingers and Kageyama pulled out a knife from his school bag. "But this time, I won't be the one getting my hands dirty. Kageyama, get rid of Nishinoya first."
