chapter 2

Anna POV

When I got home I was still thinking about the party. I greeted my mom in her office

"Hey mom I'm home" I said as I walk into her officer.

"Hey honey how was your first day back at school" my mom asked.

"It was like usually" I said

"OK go change and do your homework if you have some and if you don't then you can come help me" my mom said.

"OK mom" I said as I went upstairs

When I got to my room I put my backpack down and went to my closet and got a black shirt that have a skull on it and a pair of white shorts. I went to my dresser and got my underwear and my bra out and headed to the bathroom.

After I took a shower and got dress I took my hair down and put it in a messy bun then went downstairs.

when I got downstairs I saw my mom on the couch in the living room.

"Hey mom what are you watching" I said as I sat down on the side of her.

"I'm watching Real Housewives of Louisiana and Ke ke, Olivia, and Dashiki fighting over Jeremiah, Jordan, and Michael." She said

"I don't get this show, why would they fight over the same man it's a lot more out there in the world" I say as I look at my mom

"your not supposed to get it now shut up"

"Ok my bad" I say as I put my hands up in surrender

After the show ended mom and I went into the kitchen and started dinner

"Hey mom"

"Yes honey"

"I got invited to a party by my crush today" I say as I mixed the salad up

"That's great honey. Are you going to go? If you is what are you wearing" she asked as she looked at me

"I don't know if I want to go. Brandon will be there with Ashely and I have no idea what to wear to the party." I say as  I look at the ground

"Don't be ashamed of yourself. You are a beautiful young lady and im proud of you for who you are. Just because you are not like her doesn't mean that no one will notice you." My mom said as she put the spoon down and walk towards me

"It's just been two years and I can't get over what happen. I don't even think I'm ready to get back out there and start dating or even going out with people" I say as I wipe the tear that fell down my cheek

"It's ok your safe now their not going to come back, the can't hurt you now." My mom said as she hugs me

I started crying in her arms. Just the thought of it made me want to die. After what seem like an hour I stop cry and wipe away the tears that was on my cheeks. My mom pull me into a huge and then she stood up.

"We should eat the food is ready" she say as she gives me a sympathetic look

"Ok" I say as a stand up from the chair and walk to the cabinet and grabbed to plates and cups.

I fix my plate and then moms. After fixing the plates I place them on the table. I went a got the cups and poured soda in them and walk back to the table and sat them down. After dinner I told my mom goodnight and went to my room. I took a shower and changed into my pajamas. I got my phone off the charger and texted Crystal goodnight and went to bed.

NEXT MORNING

I wake up cutting off my alarm. I get up and get out my clothes for school. When I'm done I head to the bathroom and take a shower and brush my teeth. I go back in my room after getting dressed and put my shoes and socks on. I decide to do something different today with my hair. I put my hair into two fishtail baids. I walk down stairs and get the box of cereal down from the refrigerator and get the milk out of the refrigerator. I get a bowel and spoon and pour some cereal into the bowl and poured the milk. After I got done with the cereal I checked my phone and see that it was 7:20 so I grabbed an apple and walked to the bus stop. When I got to school I saw Crystal waiting for me by her car.

"Hey Crystal" I say as I walk up to her car

"Hey Anna nice hair" she said as she look away from her phone

"Thanks, so what are you doing" I say as we head into the school

"I'm trying to beat my brothers high score on flappy bird" she says as she put her phone away

"Really y'all still playing that game. I thought you said that you was done with that game after you through your phone because it was making you mad" I say as I smile at her

"Hey in my defense it is one hard game and one frustrating time so I through it." She said as she started laughing

"From that day forward I learn not to mess with you when you are in your gaming mode." I say as I put my backpack and the books I don't need into my locker.

"You better not now let's go to class" she say as she drag me to our first class which is English
