Sapphire, full of curiosity, went to the Ravenwood library to find out more information on Edward Ravenwood, and the Ravenwood manor. When she got there, a boy with black hair was sitting, reading the book on the history of Ravenwood. "Excuse me, can I see that book for just one second?" The boy turns "of course, I'm done with it anyways, didn't have the information I needed, I was looking for info on a creature called the shadow, all I found was Edward Ravenwood's note." "What page is that on?" "Page 64" Sapphire smiled "thank you so much, I'm Sapphire by the way, what's your name?" "Silver" "nice to meet you, I hope we meet again" "me too" With that Silver left the library and Sapphire read more on Edward Ravenwood's death:
Edward Ravenwood Found Dead In Ravenwood Manor!
Edward Ravenwood was found dead today, he was found hanging from a rope.
He left a note that read
"The Shadow Is Always Watching"
Police think that Edward Ravenwood became insane, from not leaving his house, and started hallucinating. The hallucinations got so bad he killed himself.
This is the fifth death in this house.
The first death was of the butler Maxwell, he was found dead in the garden this year.
The second death was of Elizabeth Ravenwood, the wife was found dead, drowned in the bath tub.
The third death was Rachel Ravenwood, the daughter was found dead, fell out of a tree.
And his son, Zack Ravenwood, died when he fell off a roof.
All are suspected suicide, caused by hallucinations, all claimed to see a being known as the shadow.
All the bodies of the Ravenwood family have disappeared.
Some wonder if it was the work of the shadow, but police claim that the shadow does not exist. When Sapphire was done reading the page she learned three things:
One, the Ravenwood family all died in 1987
Two, all the deaths were linked to something called "the shadow"
And three, her butler, Maxwell, should be dead.
