Adelia Juliet Parker was always the quiet girl at school. She got into trouble in her younger days in elementary school, but once she hit junior high school, she calmed down. She never spoke unless spoken to by her teachers and peers, unless they were her close friends. She had been bullied throughout elementary school, so she decided to lay low when she went to junior high. She had friends, but never was a part of the popular crowd, never played sports, never attended parties, never did anything to get noticed. She wasn't a genius, but she had decent grades. She'd rather keep to herself, reading a book rather than looking through gossip magazines like the girls her age.

Maddox Alexander Wilson was always the weird kid growing up. He had very few friends. When he made it to junior high, he turned into the wild child. He had a rough childhood, and it showed. He ran with the wrong crowd, did things he shouldn't do, made bad grades. He didn't care where he was going or what he was doing with his life. He just did what pleased him.

They grew up together in their small town, but never really hanging out with the same crowd. Little did these two know, they would wind up as best friends. Maybe even more. All due to getting stuck in a class neither of them wanted to take, but got put in due to being freshmen.
