It was exactly three o'clock when Riley Matthews walked into the school, frowning. "Farkle?" she called out. When she got no reply, she walked further into the school, eventually finding her fathers classroom. She sat on his desk and swung her legs, waiting for Farkle to get there. She knew how bad he must be hurting, she had been going through it too. It still stung to think about Maya and Lucas, but she missed them more than anything. She missed Maya so bad it hurt, but her pride stopped her from accepting Maya's apologies.

"Hey, Riley!" Zay turned the corner, Maya behind him. The blonde froze when she saw Riley sitting there, and the brunette was just as confused.

"Zay, you said there would be taco coupons in here." Maya stated coldly, her arms crossed as she turned around. Zay grabbed her by the shoulders, turning her around and gently shoving her into the classroom. He slammed the door shut and leaned against it, hoping it would hold in case the girls attempted to break out. "ZAY!"

He gulped, praying Lucas would get there soon. His prayers were answered when Lucas turned the corner, looking at Zay confusedly. "Zay? What are you doing here? Did you hear about Smackle?"

Zay nodded, stepping away from the door cautiously. "Mhm. You should go get her books or whatever."

Lucas suspiciously opened the door, eyes widening when he saw Riley and Maya inside. He barely had time to ask, "What's going on?" before he was shoved inside.

Zay shut the door and locked it, sighing in relief as he slumped against the wall. Now he just had to wait.

It was silent. Riley slouched in her fathers chair, her back to them. Maya sat on a desk, looking at her nails. Lucas just looked at both of them. He was the first to speak. "Did Smackle really break her legs?"

Maya laughed, "You really fell for that, Ranger Rick? You're dumber than you look."

Lucas crossed his arms defensively, leaning against the wall. "Well, how'd Zay get you in here?"

Maya got quiet. "...tacos."

Riley huffed, spinning her chair around. "Have either of you seen Farkle? I need to talk to him."

Maya sat up straighter, leaning forward. "Whatever he said to get you in here, it's probably not true."

"What'd he tell you, Riles?" Lucas asked, earning a glare from both of them.

"Only I call her Riles." Maya growled, crossing her arms adamantly.

Riley looked away, not wanting to look at either of them. "He said that Smackle dumped him and that he wanted to see me."

Lucas and Maya stopped bickering to look at her with sympathy. "Hey, don't worry. They're probably still together."

'That's not what's upsetting me.' she thought. 'I don't care if they're together.'

"I just wanna talk to him." Riley said, dialing his number.

Bzzzzzzzzz. Bzzzzzzzzz.

"Is that coming from the closet?" Lucas asked, taking a few steps towards the closet near the back of the classroom. Opening it, he found Farkle crammed against the wall, fear all over his face. "Uh, hey Lucas."

"Farkle? You did this?" Maya asked, standing up and walking intimidatingly towards him.

"It was Zay's idea. Not mine. They just wanted me to...supervise."

"Supervise? Supervise what? Us being locked in a classroom to work out our issues?" Maya demanded to know.

"Look, Zay will let us out as soon as you forgive each other." Farkle explained, walking skittishly around her and over to Cory's desk.

Riley looked hurt. "Farkle, were you lying about Smackle?" she stood up, forgetting about Lucas and Maya for a second.

Farkle looked down at her, deciding eye contact was inevitable. "We're still together. She didn't break up with me, I only said that to get you here, Riley. I'm sorry."

Riley swallowed hard, looking down at their shoes. "Okay." she walked past him, standing by the door. "Zay, please let me out."

Zay was flipping his water bottle in the halls, bored out of his mind, when he heard Riley. "Sorry, Riley. I can't do that yet."

Riley knew she had to get this over with. "Maya, you're forgiven. Lucas, you're forgiven. Zay, let me out."

"Nuh-uh. Not until I hear sincere apologies."

Riley crossed her arms, turning to Lucas and Maya. They looked at each other for a second, before Lucas decided to speak. "Riley, I never should've kissed Maya. It was a mistake. I just want us to get back to normal."

Riley stayed quiet, Maya taking this as an opportunity to talk. "Im sorry too, Riles. Lucas kissed me...but I kissed him back. It was selfish, and a mistake. I miss you."

Riley stayed expressionless for a few seconds before stepping forward and wrapping her arms around Maya tightly. "I miss you too, Peaches."

"That's what I wanted to hear!" Zay said, standing in the doorway, smiling at the group back together. Lucas smiled in return, and they walked out of the room together.

At the last minute, Riley turned and grabbed Farkle's shoulder, holding him back. They were alone in Cory's classroom, her hand resting on his arm. When she spoke, it was a vulnerable whisper, but he heard her loud and clear. "Please don't lie to me anymore, Farkle. I thought you were hurt, and that hurt me, and when I found out it was all a lie I-" she was abruptly cut off by Smackle walking into the room. "My plan worked, like always! Come on, dearest, everyone's waiting."

Riley dropped her hand, breaking eye contact and walking briskly out of the classroom, hurrying to catch up to Maya. Farkle watched her go, the feeling of her hand on his arm still lingering as he linked arms with Smackle and walked out of the classroom.
