Jace found her in the bathtub
after he got home from school one day.
She had skipped class
and he was worried about her.
When he walked into the bathroom
his hope fell
and his heart sunk.
His beautiful baby girl
was sitting
pale and close-eyed in the water.
The funeral

There were only two people there.
Jace felt so depressed
that his baby was gone

together.
