The next day I started feeling the soreness I tried to stay in bed but my mom gotten upset about all the days I skipped school she said if I miss another day I'm dead so I cleaned myself up and walked down stairs
"My mom legs hurt"I sat on the couch
"Here you go"my mom handed me my crutches
"Thanks I guess....."I laughed she kissed my forehead leading me to the door
At school
When I entered the building everyone looked at me weirdly I knew they heard about what happened to me....do they think I'm a drunk driver or some kind of crazy person
"Hey sunshine"A boy smiled at me
"Hi"I said he grabbed my book bag off my shoulder carrying it for me to my locker
"Thank you"I smiled out the corner of my eye i I I I I saw Hayes..................I'm dreaming something's wrong with me
"You ok?"The boy asked I looked at him
"I'm um fine"I forced it out
"By the way my name is Cody"He grabbed my hand I kept looking at Hayes soon me and Hayes made eye contact he didn't speak or wave at me he just looked at me
"Nice to meet you I'm Andrea"I spoke back to Cody
"Babe!!!!"a high pitch sound filled the halls I looked over the see a girl kissing Hayes
"Oh yeah thats Sam"Cody said
"Sam?....wow..cool I guess"I held my head against the lockers
"What's wrong?"He asked
"I wish I just disappeared"I said under my breath
"Ok.......weird"He said
"Oh god I'm sorry for my crazy thinking out loud I'm to much of a lost person to be understood"I slammed my locker walking on my crutches quickly but Cody was right behind me.
"Andrea I never said that"He grabbed me
"You don't understand anything, your just a nobody"I said
"Yeah just like you"Cody spoke all my feelings then disappeared
"What?"I asked
"You are shaped by how you see others seeing you which in the end it all really much is nothing"Cody said I looked at him dead in the eyes
"Fuck off"I said
"Fuck off? Haha really Andrea me and you both know reality could kill us"He smiled
"lets die then"I said rolling my eyes
"No the question is are you ready to die?"He asked
"Ok....what is you problem?"I asked
"See I can make you see all of the things that you can be"He smiled reaching behind my ear then he pulled a coin from behind it I lifted and eyebrow
"Pretty cool right?"He asked I laughed
"Yeah it was whatever"I smiled
"Whatever? You're a tough nut to crack"He smiled I looked back over to see Hayes watching us
"Lets go"I handed Cody my books as he walked me to class
