Chapter 5

Elle's P.O.V.

I pull into the parking lot of mine and Lilly's apartment and walk up to the door. I unlock the door and walk up to our apartment door then unlock that door.

"Lilly! I'm home!" I yell when I come home.

I wonder where Lilly is.

She's usually on the couch eating or something. Eh she's probably in her room.

I set my bag down on the kitchen counter and slip my shoes off of my feet then I go to Lilly's room to check if she's there.

Oh, she's not there. I guess she went to Kayla's then. I'll call her, though. just to make sure that she's there. I dial Lilly's number into my IPhone. It's ringing.

Lilly's P.O.V.

I'm sitting on the couch when I feel my phone vibrate in my pocket. Elle, I'm sure. I don't want to answer the call right now, so I just pull out my phone and silence the call. I'll just text her back then.

"Who's that?" Niall asks me while walking over to me and sitting down on the couch.

"Um, it's just my friend Elle." I tell him.

Geez. Nosy much?

"Don't tell her about any of this." Niall says to me. He has a dead serious look on his face.

"Why not?" I ask him.

"No one can find out about us being vampires or anything. Well, you and Kayla are one of the few who do know. And we will get in a lot of trouble if any word gets out. So just don't. Say. Anything. You got it?" Niall says to me.

"Uh, yea, I won't say anything. Promise." I tell him.

I won't mess around with this because it seems pretty serious, so I just won't tell Elle then.

"Okay, good." He says, smiling a little.

I return the smile. I turn to talk to Kayla, but she got up from the couch already to go talk to Harry. They're sitting at the kitchen table smiling and laughing. It looks like they're getting along well.

Kayla's P.O.V.

I really, really like Harry. I don't care if I just met him like 10 minutes ago, I feel like I've known him longer. I love his bright green eyes, any his brown, curly hair.

"So, are you and Lilly close?" Harry asks me.

"Yeah, we're pretty close. Lilly's a really good friend of mine." I tell Harry.

"Yeah, I could tell." He says.

I really love his British accent. And I can see his fangs, which is cool, because I love vampires.

Niall's P.O.V.

I guess Harry and Kayla are getting to know each other, now. I still need to get to know Lilly more. I'll just try to

get Kayla to leave the house tonight.

Or maybe her and Harry will go out.

I turn to the side to talk to Lilly, but it looks like she's texting her friend, Elle back.

"Are you close with your friend, Elle?" I ask Lilly.

"Oh yeah, definitely. We've known each other since first grade. She's my absolute best friend." Lilly tells me.

"Yeah, it's always nice to have a really good friend that you're close to." I tell Lilly.

"Yea, it is, because Elle moved to Arizona when we were in fifth grade, and we always stayed very close. Now we've been reunited for a while now, and it's awesome." Lilly says to me.

I can tell her and Elle are very close.

"That's nice that you guys stayed in touch, even though you lived apart." I say to Elle.

"Yeah, I think so too." Lilly says.

Her phone starts to ring.

"Oh, hang on a minute." Lilly says as she gets up to go to her room to take the call.

Lilly's P.O.V.

I glance down at my phone to see who it is when I'm walking to my room.

I don't know this number. I guess I'll answer it, though.

"Hello?" I say to the caller as I sit down on the bed.

There's just silence.

"Um, anyone there?" I ask.

Who is this??

"This is no one you know. You don't want to know me. You wouldn't want to meet me. If you keep the secret untold, you will not have any troubles. But if you make the secret know, well, you just don't want to know what will happen." A deep, man's voice tells me.

The caller then hangs up. My heart is literally beating out of my chest. I'm really scared, what does that mean? The guys voice was really scary, too.

But should I tell Niall about this?
