Chapter 9

Reader's POV

"Remember who you are,(Y/N)."

Waking up with cold sweat, I steadied my heartbeat. 'It was a nightmare, (Y/N)' I said to myself as I reach for my phone which was placed on the night stand. 'It is still dark outside' I checked my phone to check the time, 2:30 a.m. I looked towards Kishan who was sleeping on the rug. Kishan twitched his ear, 'He's awake,' I thought as I got off the bed. I knelt down and stroke his head. He purred as I scratch behind his ear, his pair of golden yellow eyes locked with my (E/C) ones. He changed into a man and put his hand on top of mine. " Can't sleep,bilauta?" he asked me. I nodded my head in reply. He stood up and carried me to the bed. We both snuggled against each other while he stroked my hair as I soon fell into a dreamless sleep knowing that Kishan was here.

I woke up from the sweet aroma of food. Getting up and shower as fast as I could, I slipped into a loose shirt, which belonged to Kishan, short pants and wore my slipper. The sound of my slippers ringed the house. "You never listen to me do you, (Y/N)?" Kelsey exclaimed loudly. I heard laughter in the kitchen as I walked into it. Kishan kissed my lips lightly and put an arm around my shoulder. "Good morning,Miss (Y/N)," Mr Kadam said with a smile. "That's the kind of greeting I was hoping from Kelsey. Good morning to you as well,Mr Kadam," I said and giggled. Kelsey stuck her tongue out in reply and went back to helping Mr Kadam.

Kelsey's POV

"Where's Ren?"(Y/N) asked,before I could reply her back, Ren walked into the kitchen rubbing the back of his head."Morning.."he said sleepily and yawned. "Morning,"(Y/N) and I said together. Kishan gave Ren a flat greeting and glared at him as he walked towards me. I pecked his cheek and he smiled in return. "Let's eat before we start training," Mr Kadam said clapping his hands together. After breakfast, we changed into suitable training clothes. We went outside to the garden to see that Mr Kadam was already waiting for us.

"I heard that Miss (Y/N) is very good in athletics as well as sports?" Mr Kadam said raising his eyebrow.(Y/N) nodded slowly and looked towards me with a 'did you tell him' look."Before that,Miss Kelsey please demonstrate the powers." I nodded and thought of the power. Nothing came out. After a few attempts, nothing happen. "I think something is wrong," I said. "It's okay, Miss Kel-"Mr Kadam said before he was interrupted by (Y/N). "Sorry to interrupt but Kelsey,can you put your hands out like this" she said while showing it to me. She came near towards me and whispered "Think of a memory that makes you angry." I obeyed and a white lightning bolt then flew out of my palm and struck a nearby tree.

I looked at the tree and then towards (Y/N). She smiled at me and pointed behind her. I look behind her and saw that Mr Kadam, Ren and Kishan wore shocked faces and Mr Kadam trotted over to me and (Y/N). He squeezed my shoulder and said "Amazing Miss Kelsey," I thanked him and turn towards (Y/N) wondering how she knows how my power works. "Hey,(Y/N).How do you know how my power works?" I asked. She smiled and said, "Lucky guess,Kelsey."

Ren's POV

Kishan looked at me,"S-she...d-did you.."he said shakily. I nodded and wonder how (Y/N) know how Kelsey's powers work.Mr Kadam was still talking to Kelsey and I hadn't realised that I was staring at (Y/N). Her (Hair Length)(H/C) hair swayed with the wind. She noticed I was staring at her, she smiled at me and mouthed 'what is it?' I looked away and stared at the ground, I sighed and looked at her with a smile.

Kishan glared at me. I glared back at him. 'Obviously he loves (Y/N) now...why do I need to care...?' I thought to myself and shook my head. "We have lots of work to be done before we can find Durga's second gift." Mr Kadam said as Kelsey followed him from behind."Let's and have a try with the weapons that Durga gave." he continued.

We nodded and went to take the weapons.(Y/N) decided to stay in the garden while waiting for us. Kishan changed into his tiger form and stayed with her who was doing warm-ups. I changed into my tiger form and walked towards the mansion with Mr Kadam and Kelsey.

Kishan's POV

I wagged my tail as (Y/N) meddled with the swords. "Miss Kelsey, let's start with the bow." Mr Kadam said as he passed the bow to Kelsey. Kelsey look uneasy and said,"I am not good in archery." while fiddling with her fingers. "I can help you,Kells."(Y/N) said with excitement laced in her voice. She jumped from the rock that she sat on and quickly took the bow from Kelsey's grasp."Wait,(Y/N).You can't." Kelsey said as she stop (Y/N) from drawing the bow. "Why?"(Y/N) said confused."It is hard to draw for you because the weapons can only work for me,Ren and Kishan. Even Mr Kadam tried to draw it but he failed. Sorry,(Y/N)." Kelsey explained to (Y/N).

(Y/N) face turned into a frown,then she smirked and ran from us and started to draw the bow and surprisingly she was drawing the bow with ease. Shock was plastered on our faces as we wondered how can she do that. She giggled at our reaction and ran towards us. "H-how can you that, (Y/N)?" Kelsey said. "Um...I'm lucky. I guess...or it is the perks of an archer."(Y/N) replied with a shrug.Mr Kadam walked towards (Y/N) and took the bow from her and tried to draw it but he failed to do so. His face was plastered with confusion and curiosity and asked how (Y/N) did it. She just smiled at him and said "I'm lucky.I guess."

~Timeskip~

We were at the Peacock room discussing when Mr Kadam entered the room."We will leave to visit the Ocean Teacher in 8 days. Miss Kelsey will have training everyday with Ren,Kishan and I.Miss (Y/N) will join us when we have weapon training as she can use Durga's weapons well." Mr Kadam said as (Y/N) smiled faintly in return."Keep in mind that I can beat you in hand to hand combat," I said smiling playfully at her. She looked at me and glared playfully,"I think I can beat your tiger butt anytime," she said and gave me the same playful smile that I gave.

"(Y/N) don't you dare try to show off, just cause you are good in weaponry," Kelsey said teasingly. "I'm good in all weaponry except my sword fighting is quite...bad," she protested playing with the ends of her hair.

Ren stared at them arguing and had a soft smile plastered on his face. I studied him,wondering why did he had a smile on. 'Maybe he is starting to fall in love with (Y/N).No..He loves Kells..' I shook the thought away and stared at (Y/N) studying her. She was pouting. She noticed I was staring at her and looked at me. I gave her a smile and kissed her lips. She smiled at me in return.
