Chapter One

~Cherry's Pov~

The one thing I hate about school; people. And also that it exists, but people? I can't tolerate them.

Jocks, nerds, geeks, cheerleaders, teachers and the oh-so-popular. And lucky me, I go there too! Life's a bitch.

Me, Cherry Lennex Games.
My life started out like everyone else's, in the womb of their mothers crotch. And we all spent nine horrifying months in their, only to be shoved out to two loving parents. Well, for me at least. My rich, caring, and affectionate parents, have cared for me ever since they bought me my own house and moved to Italy. Yep that's right, loving. I don't even think it's legal to do that with your kids, but they did it anyways. Now here I am. A seventeen year old girl with no more dreams left in her system. Except my brother, James. He lives in uptown California, while I live near town square in New York, getting ready for collage next year.

I strolled through my light green bedroom, out the tall ceilings, and down the large staircase leading to the kitchen. I listened to my feet make creaking noises every step I took. I made my way over to the fridge and opened the massive object to grab a juice box. I tore out the straw and stabbed it into the box, straight through the middle. I sucked the life out of the small thing that filled up my stomach and dropped the contents in the trash. I peered around my lonely kitchen and sighed. It's always gonna be this way.

With that in mind, I jogged into the garage and started up my red Lamborghini. I drove silently to school and parked in a reserved spot, just for fun. I noticed the time. Classes already started.

I walked through the double doors, out to the front yard of the school and studied the familiar area. Fake grass, tall trees scattered around, and liter surrounding my feet. Nobody cleans this dump up.

I took of my jacket and knelt down. I guess it's better if I clean it up, than someone else.

~Blake's Pov~

"What happened with Vanessa?" Jesse asked me as I took a puff of my cigaret, threw it on the ground and stomped off the smoke.

We were currently outside of my, hopefully, new school, since the last ones didn't accept my applications. Ha. Their loss.

We, as in me, Jesse and Hunter, my best friends.

I shrugged, "She got too nagging." I shivered at the thought.

Suddenly a shadowy figure showed in my eyes, in front of Teal High School.
I jerked my head around to see an hourglass figured girl, bent down, and cleaning up a section of the yard near double glass doors, her dark purple hair slowly falling over her shoulders.

I froze.

Jesse howled a whistle at the girl, causing her head to turn and face us.

My body stiffened even more.

"She's hot." I scowled at Jesse, but quickly turned my attention back to the random girl. She pulled up her middle finger and twirled around to emphasize her reason. I smiled.

Wait... I never smile.

I turned my expression back to blank and jerked my head over to an ogling eyed Hunter.

"Hey, Gorgeous!" He shouted, that got her attention. She frowned and threw some garbage away in a nearby trash can. Soon, too soon, she swayed her hips, side to side, and strutted back into the school. I sighed, relieved.

"Um... I'm going inside th-that place." Jesse said, moving to walk away and towards the doors the mystery girl went through.

"M-me too." Hunter added, getting up also and following Jesse. In an instinct I grabbed both their arms and held them back.

"Dude what the-" Jesse started, but when I let go he stopped squirming. Him and Hunter looked shocked and scared at the same time.

I shook my head and stared into the clouded distance. My vision suddenly went back over to the spot the girl went through. Her body. Her face. Was all in my mind. Her diagonally parted, unnatural, dark purple hair and her full pink lips were clear as day, but the rest of her face was blurry, due to my non-20-20 vision. She was wearing a cropped leather jacket covering her tight, white tank top and skinny, black jeans, covering her long, luscious legs. I had to get closer to her soon. One day.

I smiled, once more, loving the strange feeling run through my muscles as they tensed, just thinking of her looks made my mouth go numb. I wanted-no needed to see her again. This opportunity was too far ahead to be passed on. My cheeks burned from the stretching they did. I sucked them back in, only to realize the warm feeling left and a cold one started up again. I reached into my pockets for something to smoke or chop up and eat, but they were empty. I grumbled a line of cuss words as I leaned back on the hood of my car, letting the mysterious girl back into my mind and the cheeky smile crawl back on my face only to notice my so called friends left and went inside the building in front of my sight. Immediately I started to run inside the building, and through a white walled hallway. I followed the clear tiles and turned a corner when I started hearing faint voices. I looked to my right and saw Hunter and Jesse laying on the ground, pass out.

Ugh. Not again. They always get into fights or meet up with random drug dealers to make some cash, but they always ended up badly, but this wasn't a drug dealer...

I froze.

The girl stood over their bodies with an annoyed look on her flawless face. Her gaze lifted to meet mine and she tensed, just as much as I did. Her bright green eyes stared into my grey ones. We both stood, examining each other's features. Her large, pink lips, parted lightly as some streaks of purple fell into her sight. Her clear- acne free face, in the perfect shape, her nose slightly up, giving off an adorable expression if she ever pouted, her sort of chubby cheeks exposed to the sunlight and her long, dark eyelashes curled up naturally over her gorgeous, green orbs. Over all, beautiful. No make up. Just naturally perfect. She must've seen my admiring expression because her scowled face flattened into a soft, blank one.

"Name?" I choked out.

"Cherry." She hesitated to say. Her panting, from kicking my friend's asses, stopped, but stayed hitched from my presence. I think.

Suddenly, Hunter started to get up, ruining our moment. He groaned, opening his eyes, looking around and fear filled his face as he scooted away on his knees, over to me and away from Cherry, who still was keeping her attention elsewhere as I continued trying to make eye contact.

"Sorry..." She murmured and turned around. She froze for a moment just to steal a glance before she walked down the hallway. I couldn't help but stare after her. My feet twitched to move, but something was pulling me back, something strong... Then I realized it was Hunter's hands on my shins, trying to get up. I huffed and pulled his hand so he jerked forward and landed on his face.

"Dude!" He screamed.

"Don't dude me!" I started, "What did you do to her?" I asked, calming myself down.

"Well..." He trailed off, looking over at Jesse's twitching body, "We came in after her, and tried to hit on her, you know the way we do." He winked, but I cringed.

The way they grope women, made me sick. At least I wait until after the first date to try and get them in bed.

"Then she kinda snapped," he continued, "said she'd rather get a monkey, then have an intercourse with me, nor Jesse." He finished with a frown. I smiled mentally.

I looked to my left and saw that Cherry was still walking away and still in my sight. Immediately I felt guilty for my friends actions so I caught up to her and panted to catch my breath from running up to her. She looked my way and stopped in her tracks. Her purple hair flew across her face as her head turned to me.

"S-sorry about my friends." I sputtered, standing up straight. She must've been surprised at my towering height, because she widened her eyes as she looked up at me.

"Whoa, you're tall." She said, taking a step back. I stepped forward, seeming confident, but really? I was a little freaked out.

"Maybe you're just short." I suggested. Her height was near six foot, but about three inches under, while I was 6'3. She backed up again, me following her.

"Th-that's not true." She said as she hit the lockers behind her head.

"Really?" I asked, she nodded as I stepped closer, our bodies nearly touching. Her clean cheeks turned a shade of pink as I came into her space.

"Y-yes." She squeaked, putting her hands on my chest when I got too close. I didn't budge, only got closer, our foreheads hardly touching. I stood right in front of her, noticing specks of gold in her eyes, glittering under the sunlight.

We stood there for a while, her touch on my chest, my hands on her waist, our foreheads against each other's and her minty breath fanning my face.

"What's your name?" She breathed out.

"Blake." I replied, moving a strand of hair in her face over her hair, gathering the purple fluff and pinning it behind her ear. She let out a shaky breath and released her hands, letting them fall on the lockers. I moved back a little to stare straight into her eyes. She looked up at me, confusion clear in her reaction. Probably because of what I just did. I looked into her green orbs and just stared. Her beauty is something I'd never get used to.

"H-hi." She said breathlessly. I realized we never had a proper introduction.

"Hey." I smiled. She returned the smile, her straight, white top row of teeth showed under her lips. Her cheeks went up and her eyes showed care. Something I never had... Until now. She cleared her throat and fidgeted with her fingers, looking down. I brought my index finger to her chin,
Causing her head to slowly look up at me. Without realizing what was happening, I leaned down as her lips parted, pressing mine with hers. Our lips moved in sync, I traced my tongue across her bottom one, asking for entrance which she granted letting our mouths have a silent battle. Her hands came up to my shoulder as she moved them up my neck and into my hair, massaging the scalp, causing a small moan out my mouth. My hands wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer. She continued, running her fingers through my hair while my arms easily spooned her body, lifting her up a little. Her lips tasted like chocolate, as if she ate some a little while ago. I felt, sparks, like I was in a cheesy, love movie but it felt so real, fireworks and explosions were going off in my head. We stayed like this for a while before we decided that breathing would be a good option. She pulled away, resting her head back onto the lockers and panted, same breathing situation I was in.

We both caught our breaths and started coming back to Earth.

"Wow." She breathed. Without hesitation, I snuggled my head on her chest, enjoying her warmth and the cookie smell. She put her small hands on my scalp and twirled my short hair in her fingers. What I loved about her hands, was that they weren't manicured with nail polish up to the tip of the long nails, they were short and resembled a fourteen year old's fingers. They also didn't run across my head, scratching my scalp, they moved at a slow, seductive pace, not causing scars.

My thumbs traced circles on her hips, as her legs trembled under my touch. I smirked to myself. If I wasn't holding her, she'd probably fall to the ground. She let go of my head, and grabbed my hands attempting to push me away, but I lifted my face to meets hers and she froze.

"Cherry?" I asked.

"Yeah?" She questioned back.

"Come with me." She gave me a confused face.

"Where?"

"Just somewhere." I was still holding her small waist, "Tonight." It gives her less time to think.

She looked over my shoulder and dazed off in deep thought.

"Strike one." She hummed to herself, before reappearing the words in my ear. I slumped my shoulders, where her hands were holding me and held her waist tighter and lifter her small frame into the air, twirling around. Wind blew her purple locks in the air. She laughed and craned her neck back, chuckling when I put her down.

God her laugh was cute.

Just then, some sort of school bell rung causing a small jump from Cherry. I chuckled at her reaction.

"Shit." She muttered under her breath, "I have to go." She pulled my hands away and turned to walk away, but I quickly grabbed her waist again just as people began to rush out of their classrooms.

"Remember tonight." I whispered. She nodded and pulled away with a smile.

"We'll see," she winked, "Try not to miss me too much," she smirked, "Bye Blake." She finished with a genuine smile and left.

I watched her retreating figure disappear into the, now, crowded halls.

My smile dropped into a frown.

I'll see her tonight though, even if I have to come in contact with an old friend of mine. I felt the need to see her, at least a few more times. She had a way to persuade anyone into doing anything, she had unbelievable beauty, she was perfect, and everything I don't deserve. But, she responded immediately before, when I kissed her, and the way she held my hair between her small fingers held emotion and strength. She could bring any man to their knees. And I was kneeling...

Cherry... I'll see you soon.

With that in mind, I strutted though the doors and out my future school.
