Chapter Three
~Cherry's Pov~
I blinked, once, and stared at Blake with a blank expression.
"So?" Was all I had to ask before the three boys chuckled.
I glanced at Hunter in the corner of my eyes who had a smug expression, same that matched Jesse's. When Blake was done laughing, he grinned widely.
I frowned with confusion.
"Is that a good thing?" I hesitantly asked as I studied the three boys before me. They looked at each other before Blake spoke up.
"Is a great thing."
Yes, I know, I am known as a bad girl. I seriously don't know the reasons though. I've never done anything that could get me in jail. Lie. Never vandalized a school. Lie. And I've never beaten up a teacher. Lie.
Well then... Never mind.
I might be the bad girl of Teal High, but that doesn't mean I'm a bad person. Does it?
I didn't realize I was in a daze until fingers snapped across my face. I blinked about three times before turning my attention to three amused, and totally strange, boys.
"Y'all are weird." I wrinkled my nose, playfully. Hunter laughed, Jesse also, but Blake stared at my face with a soft smile. I blushed at how his grey eyes held a loving affection to them.
Why did he have such an effect on me?
Oh, and why did he kiss me?
"Just being who we are, CherCher." Hunter winked. I raised an eyebrow at his nickname for me.
"Really? CherCher? That's the best you could come up with?" I scoffed.
"Well your name resembles a small fruit. Don't blame me for trying to mix it up." He muttered looking out the window.
"Your name is just as dull." I muttered also, glaring at his pretty little face.
"My name is a reminder for a brave man, fighting for his food and shelter for families." He scoffed.
"Your name is just as weak as your state of mind." I shot back, "My name is from an exotic land back in Germany where people of all ages would chose their fruit to save lives in other countries." He glared back at me when I narrowed my eyes.
"Your name is just as stupid as yourself." He nearly shouted.
"Lil' bitch." I said calmly. We both glared at each other before Blake cut in, slapping Hunter across the back of his head and turning to look at me, eyebrow raised, "He started it." I huffed and jutted my bottom lip out. Blake stared at me, in another trance, before leaning closer and getting a good look at my pout. He smiled, largely.
"I love your name." He whispered. I smiled back and pecked his lips before glaring at Hunter. He just glared back.

We all started to laugh.
~Blake's Pov~
She was so carefree and slightly delirious to how much she made my mind go blank and only focus on her, her face. Her laugh. Her smile.
Jesus, I sound like a lovesick bitch.
Well, I don't care right now.
She had a small temper, feisty and rebellious.
Cherry Lennex Games.
Her name was in the newspaper for about four years in a row now, mostly for violence and threats made to students and professors. I just never knew she would be... Well... Gorgeous. I figured she would be much taller and intimidating, but boy, I was wrong.
The only thing that didn't quite make sense was her hair. Her eyebrows matched to the same color, so it showed as natural. But then why did it look so unnatural?
"Who wants to have some fun?" Cherry shouted, opening her car door. Right before she got out, Jesse and Hunter opened their doors as well. I copied and walked into a clearing of a forest.
"I thought we were getting tacos." My mouth blurted out, while I joined Cherry, Jess and Hunter in a standing circle.
Cherry turned to me and smiled. I immediately returned the grin. Her smile was like a disease, it spreads.
"And I thought you didn't kiss random girls." She raised an eyebrow, looking amused.
Oh she did not just go there.
I scowled.
"Well I thought," Jesse started, but paused to capture everyone's attention, "That we were going to do something fun." He exclaimed, throwing his hands in the air. Hunter chuckled, but Cherry and I stared at each other, me glaring playfully and her smiling, knowing what she said.
It was true though.
I don't kiss random girls. Then why did I do it to Cherry? Don't know?
Me neither.
Well, she was absolutely stunning and gorgeous on the outside, but I I felt something inside that needed to know her inside. The past. The secrets. Her knowledge. Her personality.
I only got a taste if it today, but I just had to know more. I really don't know why...
"Hey, Blake?" Cherry asked, still standing in front of me, smiling.
"Yeah?" I croaked, throat dry. She beamed and studied my suspicious face before resting her gaze on my eyes.
She smirked, "You coming?" She gestured towards her fiery red car, which I had already fallen in love with. I looked around, expecting to see Jess and Hunter in the car, or by us, but I saw no one.
"Shit, did we lose them?" I asked Cherry, eyebrows high, expecting an answer. Her smile fell and she frowned, confused for a second before she smiled, softly, and looking up to meet my gaze.
"Hunter and Jesse had some important issues to deal with," she winked, "So it's just us."
Just. Us.
I wanted to do a victory dance or grab Cherry and run, but that would be strange... And she already pointed that out earlier.
I turned to Cherry and grinned, widely while she matched my expression.
"Let's go then," I ran towards the driver's seat and got in, Cherry scooting into the passenger's side.
"Tacos?" She asked, I smirked.
"What else?"
We both laughed.
