Chapter 5: The Fun

Once we get home I go upstairs to get my old guitar so Brad can play some songs for Mom and Dad.

I come back to the living room and hand my guitar to Brad. He says Thank you! He starts to play, he

plays about six songs then he asks me to sing Whiskey Lullaby with him so I did. It was so fun. After

that he played a few of his new songs. He finishes and my parents thank him then we say our

goodnights and head up stairs to lay down.

So Brad changes into his pjs and so do I. I start to brush my hair then Brad takes the brush from me

so he could brush the little hair he does have. Then he starts to brush my hair for me. He's so

thoughtful . We lay down and Brad is so far away from me he's about to fall of the bed. Brad you don't

have to stay away from me. You can get closer. So he gets closer and I snuggle right up against him

and he holds me tight. I shut my eyes and end up falling asleep.

Brad's POV:

Well Carrie is now sleeping and I cant. I'm really thirsty so I pick up her arm that is on top of my chest

and move it so I can go downstairs to get some water. I walk to the kitchen and turn the corner and

Stephen is standing there making coffee. Hey Mr. Underwood sorry to bother you I just cant sleep

and my throat is dry from singing earlier. I just came down to get some water.

" Brad call me Stephen" Ok Stephen I say with a smile. "Brad would you like some coffee?" Sure so I

get a cup and pour some coffee and sit down with Stephen. We start to talk about a few things. Well I

should get back upstairs so I can get some sleep because Carrie is going to take me around town.

Thank you again for the coffee again. " No thank you Brad for treating my daughter right he says with

a smile" I smile and shook his hand, then headed upstairs. I got back into bed and Carrie suddenly

woke up and looked at me and smiled and fell back to sleep. I cuddled up next to her and fell asleep.

Author's POV:

Carrie and Brad woke up that morning and went downstairs to eat the breakfast that her mom cooked

for them. They ate then both of them went upstairs to shower and get ready. Carrie puts on short

shorts and a tank top. Brad puts on his Captain American shirt and a pair of cargo shorts. They hold

hands and walk downstairs. They leave and take Stephen's truck since Brad and Carrie didn't drive to

Oklahoma. Brad drives and Carrie tells him where to go. They downtown which is like five minutes

from Carrie's house. They go visit a few people and shops downtown. They head over to Carrie's old

Middle School. They go inside and school is still in session because its only 10 in the morning. They

go into the office and the secretary greets Carrie with a big hug. Carrie says hello and then goes and

talks to the principle. Hello Mrs. Copper! " OH MY CARRIE!! How are you?" I'm good I say and we
