Ch 6: A Wonderful Night

(READER POV)

Did Mark just ask me out? He's cute and... well he did say it was to get to know me better. But isn't that a point of date, and he did seem a bit nervous when he asked.
Let's just see how this plays out. No need to get worked up about it.
I continued watching Friends until it was time for our date.
~~~~TTTTIIIIMMMMEEEE SSSSKKKIIIIPPPPP~~~~
"Hey (Y/N) ready to go?"
"Yeah. Let's go."
"BYE CHICA! Don't shit on anything while we're gone!" Mark yelled.
I laughed and Mark looked over at me and smiled.

"What. Why are you smiling like that?"

"Your cute when you laugh. You should do that more." He looked at me with his gentle eyes.

I blushed. "Thank you."

We were at the pizza place and had sat down at at table for two.

A waitress had come over. "Welcome to our pizzarea can I get you anything to drink?"

Mark and I both asked for water.

"Ok I'll get that for you."

"So." Mark looked at me.

"So..."

"How do you like living her so far. Even though it's been 1 day."

"It's been good. I would like to explore more of the city. And thank you for letting me stay at your place."

"No problem. I can give you a tour of L.A. if you want."

"That would be great."

"And maybe we can go to the trampoline place that's here! That place is so much fun!" Mark got really exited. It's really cute when he gets exited. It's like he's a little kid. 

"I would love to go there."

"Great! And some of my friends can go with us. Or is that okay with you?"

The waitress brought our drinks. "That would be fine."

"So have you two decided what you want to get?" The waitress asked.

"Um yes I would like 2 slices of meat supreme and she would like.."

"A slice of (f/t)(favorite topping)." I tell her.

"Ok. 2 Slices of meat supreme and a slice of (f/t). I will be back with your order." and the waitress went off.

"So who would you invite?" I ask.

"My friend Jordan, he has a YouTube channel as well and we collabed a few times. You should watch those videos they're pretty funny. My friend Tyler is actually coming over to L.A. to help me out with some stuff. I probably should of told you that he's going to be moving in with us in about a week."

"Oh that's fine. It's always good to make new friends."

"Good. I've known Tyler since elementary school when I lived in Cincinnati and we've always been friends. Maybe I can also film the day for my channel. I haven't really done a vlog type video in a while. Do you mind being filmed and then being put up on YouTube."

I thought about it. "Sure I don't mind."

"Great. I'll call them later to let them know."

"So how's the YouTube life? And do you actually make money from it?" I asked because I was curious. Can you actually make money from posting videos on the Internet?

"It's going great. I love making videos and it does pay the bills."

"So how much money do you make from making videos?"

"I rather not say, especially in a public place like this."

"Oh Ok. I understand." Then 2 kids with their mother came up to our table.

"Hi, sorry to bother you but my kids love your videos." The kids looked about 12 and looked a lot alike, probably twins. "Yeah we love your videos." One of them said.

"Oh do you now? I'm sorry I swear a lot." Mark looked at them with a smile.

"That's ok. You make them so happy when they watch you." She bends down to get closer to Mark and whispers something in his ear. Mark got a sad expression on his face. "Oh I'm sorry about that." 

"It's ok. It couldn't be helped. So do you mind taking a picture with them, it would mean the world to them."

"Sure I would love to!" He got up and stood with the twins and they all made funny faces.

Then the mother looked at me. "So are you Marks girlfriend?"

"Oh no! We're just friends." 

"Aw that's to bad. You two look cute together and would make a cute couple." She smiled and told her kids that they have to go and left. "Bye Markiplier!" The twins both said as they left. "Bye guys!" Mark replied.

I was blushing from what the mom said, and apparently Mark heard what she said as well because his face was a little red as well. 

"So you heard what the mother said I'm guessing." I asked.

"Um yeah." 

The waitress had come back with our pizza "Ok here are your pizza's!" 

"Thank you." we both said to her and we dug in not saying a word. 

Guess what *whispers* ~~~~~time skip~~~~~

So we made it back home and Mark had called his friends about going to the trampoline place next week. To think of it, I don't think I've ever been on a trampoline. Now that I'm here to make a new life for myself I better start doing new things.

I went to my room and Mark and Chica went to his. 

I remembered one of the twins from earlier calling Mark, Markiplier. Was that his YouTube name? I got on my phone and looked it up and a bunch of videos with Marks face was on them. So yes, yes it his name.

I got curious and clicked to his channel. There were a lot of videos. over 3,000 videos. Wow that's a lot. I clicked one of the more recent videos and it was hilarious. Before I knew it I was hooked. I found the video called Gentlemen's Dispute. It featured another quite handsome man who goes by CaptainSparklez. I look him up and it turns out he is Marks friend Jordan. I know now what he looks like. That's good I guess.

I kept watching videos until I heard a knock on my door. I paused the video I was watching. It was Mark playing FNAF. "Come in"

Mark opened the door and came in. "May I sit." He asked.

"Yes." He sits down next to me and looks at me.

"I know we had kinda of an awkward day and I want to make it up. I made a nice meal and set the table. Do you mind joining me for a not so awkward dinner."

I smiled. "I don't mind." Mark got up and offers his hand. I grab and we go down stairs to the dining room. He had made spaghetti and set the table nicely. 

"This looks so nice."

"Thank you. I did it for you." 

I looked at him and then I stared hugging him and he hugging me back. 

We sat down and started eating and had a nice conversation. I go to bed happy and start to have nice dreams. Then everything started getting really....dark.
