Chapter 11: The braclet

The next day
Marks POV
I had so much fun with (y/n) yesterday. She seemed to really enjoy it to.
Tyler and I were having breakfast. (Y/n) wasn't with us because she called into work early to help with an event that the restaurant is having.
"So when are you going to give her the bracelet?" Tyler asked taking another bite of eggs.
"I don't know yet."
"You better give it to her soon."
"Yeah I know."

Tyler and I decided to go to the gym and work out. I tweeted out that videos were going to be late today. I already filmed them, just need to edit and upload.
When we got to the gym that had the rock climbing I wall I saw Jordan.
"Hey Jordan."
"Hey Mark."
"So I saw that you got Gingers number yesterday, I guess you two really hit it off."
"Um yeah. We've been texting a lot since yesterday and we are actually going on a date this weekend."
"That's great!"
"Yeah maybe you and (y/n) can join us."
"Like on a double date?"
"Yeah."
"But me and (y/n)....."
"They would love to." Tyler jumped in.
I death stared at him.
"That's great! I'll text you the time and place."
"Great." I say.
We walk into the gym and start climbing.

Time skip back home

Tyler and I got back home about 10:30 and (y/n) doesn't get off until 3. I need to tell her about the double date. I was thinking I would give her the bracelet right before we leave for the date.
Your POV
I had to wake up 6 this morning to go into work for this special event that we are doing. And I don't get off until 3 and it's only 12:00.
I keep waiting tables until one family comes in. A middle aged man a woman and a little boy about 10. The man looks very familiar. I can't put my finger on it. His family get seated in my section.
"Hello I'm (y/n) and I'll be your server today. What drink can I start you with?"
"A diet coke for me a water for her and a sprite for him." The man looked up at me and I started to shake a bit. I know who he is. As soon as he spoke and know that I have a closer look at him. He's my dad.
"Are you ok hun, your shaking." The wife says.
"Yes I'm fine. It's just a little cold in here from the a/c. I'll be right back with your drinks."
I couldn't believe it. My dad is here. After all these years. I see him.

I bring back their drinks. "Here you guys go. Are you guys ready to order."

They order their food. "Ok. I'll be back with your food when it's ready."

"Thank you." My father said.

I take the orders to the kitchen. I'm a little teary eyed. I go to the bathroom real quick to freshen up. "It's ok. I'm fine. I can get through this." I say to myself. I go back out and deal with other customers before I go back to check on my fathers food.

"Ok here you are." I hand them their orders.

"Thank you miss." The boy said.

I smile and walk away.

Dad pays for their food and they make their way out the door. When I pick up my tip I notice a note under the money.

Dear (y/n), 

Thank you for the nice dinner and serves. I see that you have grown up into a nice young women. I could never forget my little girl. I'm so sorry for leaving you with your mother. I would love to talk to you and catch up with you for the lost time. 

Love, Dad

And there's a number on the bottom.

I'm in complete tears. He recognizes me. I smile and tuck the note in my pocket.

~~~~Time Skip to the FUTURE!~~~~

My shift is over and I go back home. When I walk through the door Chica is right there to great me. "Hey girl." 

"Hey (y/n)."

"Hey Mark."

"What's with the smile?"

"I saw my father today."

"What?"

I tell him what happened and told him that my father ditched my mom and I.

"Well that's great. Are you going to call him?"

"Maybe. I don't know. He ditched me."

"It sounds like he wants to make amends."

"I'll give it more thought." I start to go to my room.

"Um.. (y/n)."

I turn around. "Yes Mark."

"Jordan as invited us to a double date with him and Ginger and I told him that we would.. um.. go. Is that alright with you?"

A DATE! "Yeah that's great. I would love to go."

He smiled at me. 

"I uploaded the video from the trampoline park today if you want to watch it."

"Ok. I'll watch it." I'm going to watch it.

When I got to my room I changed into more comfortable clothes and plopped unto my bed, pulled my phone and headphones out and opened YouTube.

I went to Marks channel and there the video was. "Fun with Trampolins! w/CaptainSparklez, Tyler, Ginger and (y/n)"

He even mentioned Ginger and I. I watched the video and it was great. After the video I checked the comments. Most of them were saying that Jordan won the backflip contest between the guys. Some of them were asking who Ginger and I were. I was afraid I would see a bunch of hate comments toward me. But I guess not. They all probably thought we are just friends. 

I replayed the video and saw Jordan and Ginger jumping in the foam pit together. Are they really getting together? I should probably ask Mark when and where the date is.  

I go downstairs and see Tyler, Mark, and Chica on the couch watching tv. "Hey Mark."

"Mmm"

"When and where is this date that we are going on?"

"Oh yeah I guess I forgot to tell you the details. It's at this fancy restaurant and it's this weekend when your not working."

"Ok cool." A fancy restaurant. Good thing I bought clothes for the acation. 

~~~~Time Skip to right before the date~~~~ 

Well today is the day. I get ready. I put on my black dress pants and a pretty (f/c) dress shirt and black flats. 

I walk downstairs where Mark is all dressed up and ready. He's wearing black paints, black dress shoes, a red button up shirt(red is his color) and a black vest over it. He's also carring a small box. I wonder what's in it. 

"Hello handsome." I say. He looks at me. He stares at me and smiles. "Hello gorgeous." I blush.

"Um. I have something for you. Come here and hold out you hand."

He opens up the box and pulls out this really pretty bracelet. "Oh Mark. You didn't have to."

"I wanted to." He puts the bracelet on. It's silver with a few a bit of (f/c) in it. 

"It's beautiful. Thank you." I hug Mark. "You're welcome." He hugs me back. 

"You two better get to your date." I turn around. It's Tyler.

We smiled. "M'lady" He holds out his arm. I take it and we go out to the car. 

wow this one took me a little while. I knew what I wanted to wright about but I just had to format it into a story. So yeah here's another chapter. Hoped you enjoyed this one. Comment down what you've like so far about the story. I'll love the feed back.
