The Catch- Grayson Dolan fanfic

The incident

It was a Friday morning, it was also the last day of school before spring break. I really don't know what to think about, i can't possibly be thinking about Grayson again but it happened.

My thoughts were soon interrupted by my alarm that i had set for 5 am.

I have early morning practice and conditioning at 6 am every morning. Usually I would be excited to see Taylor and the rest of the team but, this time is different knowing that Grayson would be there practice and passing around the football.

Grayson's POV
I was driving down the road on the way to my early morning football practice when i saw the softball team running around the block. I saw Rachel and she was wearing a sports bra and some athletic pants.
I don't want to think about her but i cant help but to stare.
I ignored my thoughts and soon enough i had arrived on the football and i walked in to find my brother Ethan waiting for me.

"Bro, where the fuck have you been?" Ethan exclaimed.

"Uhhh.... there was a little bump in the road i guess you could say."

Ethan and i had started to pass the ball back and forth and i guess i was zoning out because everyone was screaming my name.

"GRAYSON WATCH OUT."

"INCOMING!"

All of a sudden i looked to my left and bright yellow softball was heading towards my head. Just then a gush of wind flew by me and the ball never hit me.
I looked up to see that Rachel had caught the ball before it had the chance to hit me.

"Wow thanks for that Rach."

"Please don't call me that, only my friends call me that." She exclaimed angrily

She started to storm and I felt a huge pang in my chest, just like my heart had been ripped right from my chest.

"I think I'm falling for you Rachel Johnson." I whispered and only if she heard me.
