The two girls were even closer than they were before. They knew that they weren't alone and no one cold hurt them anymore than they were hurting themselves. Cecilia's mother had noticed a change in the young girls appetite, mood, body language, and sleeping schedule. Cecilia would skip dinner, which was at 5:00 every night, and go straight to bed. She wouldn't wake up until the next morning and ht only reason she woke up then was because Noel came and woke her up. Mrs. Wolife was so worried about her child that she sent her to a doctor that she called, a drug dealer. Now, Cecilia knew that if her mother sent her to this "drug dealer" that they's make her take her clothes off and they would see the mutilation she had done. She couldn't do that to her family and she couldn't do that to Noel either. If Mrs. Wolfie found out about Cecilia she would tell Mrs. Bratter and then Noel would be in trouble too. Cecilia just couldn't do that. She told her mother that she would start to act better. That she was having school problems, but would try her hardest to stop sleeping so much. Her mother agreed and sent her on her way.
Cecilia called Noel on her phone and told her to meet her an hour before school so she could tell her what happened the previous night. The next morning Cecilia waited in the fort for Noel and when she finally came Cecilia was practically shouting at her, telling her what her mother threatened to do. Noel was very upset at the fact that Cecilia's mother would tell hers and she would get in trouble as well. This was not a happy time.
Cecilia and Noel's mothers had a talk with the girls and said that it was best that they didn't meet so early for school and that they start trying to make new friends. Cecilia was so angers that she stormed out of the meeting and into her room. Noel suggested that she go and calm her down and that maybe she'd come back down here and finish the talk. The mothers agreed and sent Noel on her way up the stairs. Cecilia wasn't in her room tho. She was in the bathroom and Noel knew that's where she kept her box of weapons. Noel knocked on the door and reassured Cecilia no one else was with her and when Cecilia opened the door, Noel had a wash of feelings come over her as she hit the floor, she was out cold.
