When Tao and Kris got Jackson and Kayla they were 6 and 7 well know Jackson is 16 and Kayla is 15. Jackson was dating their close friend Desire and they have been dating for 3 years. Kayla is dating a guy named chenle who was in a kpop group called NCT dream. Jackson and Kayla were walking to school one day when they saw their parents talking to a cop and they thought something had happened so they ran over to them as fast as they could. When they got their parents Tao was crying and he just held his son while the cop explained that Desire had gone missing that afternoon and nobody knew where she was and Jackson was the last person to see her. Jackson just sat on the curb crying when the police said they had to take him in for questioning he asked if his sister could come with and they said yes. Jackson held Kayla's hand very tightly and just cried on her shoulder in the backseat of the cop car. When they got to the police station they officers told them to wait in the car for a while that's when Jackson noticed the FBI car and that's when everything went to hell.
