When Jackson opened the letter the first thing he saw was a price for $13,000 which made Jackson fall the floor. Mark then took the note and read it out loud to the class,
Dear Jackson,
I have your girlfriend if you don't pay $13,000 by 2 weeks then Desire will get killed or worse. Bring me the money at the bar downtown.
After Mark read the note Jackson stood up with tears in his eyes and took the note from Mark and threw it away. Mark just started at him with a straight face and walked out the door. Jackson was still crying because he didnt know how he was going to save his own girlfriend since he didnt have that kind of money. Mark walked back in and just hugged Jackson and just let him cry it out. At the end of Jackson crying he looked up at Mark and then he kissed him which took Mark by suprise then the phone rang when they picked up the phone it was a voice they've never heard before.
