Penny's PoV
Dylan's date sat in the ditch.It was horrible and akward,he kept trying to bring up the topic of me and Jake.He saw me and Jake talking and instantly turned on his 'jealous boyfriend' face.He had a right to,Jake was flirting with me.It wasn't the best last date I would have.I was planning to break up with him.Even if we went to the same university,it still wouldn't work out.
I sat in bed finishing my novel,it was late but I only had two chapters to go before this book comes to and end.Soon my phone buzzed.It had no caller ID,but I still answered it.
"Who is this?"I say as I press the answer button.
"Oh hey Penny."I knew that voice.Why the fuck was Jake calling me?
"Jake."I say with a slight laugh to cover the shake in my voice."How-How did you ge-get my number?"
"Your-your brother g-gave it to me."He said mimicing the manner of my voice.I give a nervous laugh.
"Oh that son of a bitch."I shake my head.I was more interested in my this boy was calling."Nevermind,why did you call?"
"I guess I wanted to tell you what university I am going to,I saw how desperate you were."
"Can't you wait for tomorrow?"My voice shaking,why was it important I know?
"Well.It's full day practice tomorrow and I know your boyfriend would be there."Tomorrow we were half day and it was practice,no classes (yay!)
"Okay then."I tap my finger on the cover of my book.
"Frescott University."
It is really that short :)
