"Mechanical engineering has it's perks."

"I thought you said electrical" she asked.

"Mechanical, electrical, they all work together you know? Anyway, how do you like your---"

"I have to go to the bathroom." she interrupted.

"How could she be so dumb" she thought in a frantic as she ran to the bathroom. It was funny to her, being alone and isolated made her feel so invincible but when being around people she felt so small and insignificant. That solace in the bathroom was broken by a sudden...

"It's okay you know."

Although frightened the smell and voice are both familiar.

"Please, please don't tell me you did."

"If you're asking then you must know I did." Both laughed.

Joshua, her date, had brought the dinner into the bathroom, the ladies bathroom at that.

"You aren't scared of germs?" Aryana questioned as he motioned towards her.

"For the money I'm paying for this, I better be able to eat it off the floor." he joked.

As the conversation went on, Aryana understood why she took a chance on him. At first she thought it was pity considering all the past misery he suffered. Nonetheless, she was having a great time and was saddened that it was ending.

"A big spender, a gentleman, and understanding? I hit the jackpot!" Aryana went on as they walked to her door.

"I'm sorry, I'm not good at being social."

"Well your beauty makes up for that." Joshua answered. "Thank you for being yourself."

Aryana smiled waving goodbye to Joshua and closing her front door when it happened. Everything, her kitchen, her living room, the hallway all turned to black as soon as the door shut. She woke up cold, surrounded by silver, stone on the ground a single table and a reverse window. In what seemed to looked like an interrogation room, there was a single vent, and the feeling of isolation she knew oh so well. It didn't take a disoriented Aryana long to realize that she has been kidnapped but by who? For what? And for how long?

"You're okay." a familiar voice rang form behind her.

"Joshua?!" she screamed. "What did you---, how did you---, why did you---, hell, WHEN did you--"

"Don't try to figure it out all at once, but you have something that they need." Joshua said ominously.

"Who is they?"

"The C.I.A." he chuckled as he trying to make the words rhyme, "listen long story short, you're here because we believe you have information about a radical group in connection with some sort of  "strange science" that's the best way to put it."

Still trying to catch her breath, while listening to Joshua, Aryana scanned the room looking for the best way out.

"The whole process would just fly by if you would just cooperate."

Too weak to speak, she sat in the chair as Joshua gave her a tray of food.

Looking at the food with uncertainty and disgust she turned and asked "is this food poisoned too?"

He chuckled as he sauntered out of the door hidden beside the reverse window with what appeared to be a key card he got from his front pocket. "Eat up." he snarked "only five more minutes until show time."
