After the last bell rings, I wait outside the school, anxious to confront Calum about the events i had just witnessed. I tap my finger on my ancient notebook filled with fresh lyrics, and lye back on the cool wall of the school. " Hey beautiful." I hear a familar voice say. I roll my eyes, and turn to face Calum, grinning down at me. "Hey boy, who happens to be in a band."I reply. Calum goes quiet. "So, do you want to tell me, who those boys are?"I ask him, looking him directly in the eye. He doesnt respond. "There not anyone, theyre just my band mates."He says. For the first time in forever Calum doesnt meet my eyes, a sure sign that he's lying. He attempts to change the subject, and gives me an adorable smile. "So, have you been stalking me? You think I'm a good singer?"Calum flirts. "Don't change the subject Calum Hood, who are they?"I ask. "They're just my bandmates, I swear." he says. I roll my eyes still not convinced. I start to walk away. "Hey beautiful, where are you going?!" he calls out. "Home!"I say turning around."Talk to me, when you can tell me the truth!" I yell.
I get a text from Calum late that night.I wuz telling u the truth, it reads. Really?, I respond. Yes, he replies back. I'll prove it to you, he adds. I dont respond, and go to sleep.
