*Y/N POV*
I slowly awoke to a huge headache. I winced in pain as I tried to look around the room I was in. I was back in bed? What happened? I felt something moist when I lifted my head from the pillow I was resting on, that's when I found black ooze. What the hell?
I slowly sat up at the edge of the bed. Jesus Christ my left eye hurt. I inspected the black ooze on the pillow closer. Did that come from me? My train of thought was interrupted when I heard yelling. The voices clearly belonged to Mark and Dark. Dark must've come back earlier than expected? I saw out the window to see it was pretty dark out already. How long was I out for?
I got up and walked out the door to find, of course, Mark and Dark just going back and forth about something. They instantly stopped when they saw me though. I felt a bit awkward. I stood there waiting for someone to say something.
"Y/N...?" Mark asked.
"Yes?" I answered. More like a question actually. I was a little confused myself at the moment. What's wrong?
"Are you feeling okay?" Dark asked sounding concerned. Okay yeah something is definitely wrong.
"I'm feeling fine. I've got a headache but other than that I'm feeling fine. Why?" I responded
"You don't remember what happened?" Mark asked. I shook my head no but then a throbbing pain came back into my left eye. "Fucking hell!" Was all I could muster out. Then the memories of what happened before I was asleep came back.
"Holy shit what happened? Some weirdo with a pink mustache became in and shot Mark and I just-" I shot up to look at Mark, "wait oh my god are you okay?" He nodded and showed that his shoulder was just fine. Blood still on his shirt but he seemed physically okay.
"I don't remember anything else. How long was I out?" I looked over to Mark.
"Uh well.." he trailed off while scratching the back of his neck.
"A few days." Dark spoke up. This whole time he was just staring at me.
"I'm sorry, days?" I responded back flustered. "How many days?"
"Three." He said straight out. "Also is your vision okay?" He pointed to my eyes.
"Its normal why?" I raised an eyebrow. "Is there something in my eyes?" I lifted a hand to touch my eyes to see if I could feel anything.
"Just show him. He's eventually going to look in the mirror anyways." Mark said abruptly. He looked a little mad.
Dark walked past me into the bathroom and came back with a small pocket mirror.
"Don't panic alright? I'm sure its nothing that bad." He said as if he was scared of my reaction. I took the mirror and staring looking at myself. What was he...I trailed off as I saw my left eye. It was black with a white iris. Eyes wide, I put the little mirror on the kitchen counter and breathed slowly. Alright. That would explain the black ooze on my pillow..
*Dark POV*
Y/N had gone eerily quiet when he finally saw his eye. Seemed too calm to be okay with this. Maybe he's having an inner panic attack? I looked over to Mark to see if he had any idea on what to do. He glared at me and motioned to Y/N. I gave him and confused look and shrugged my shoulders. 'What do you want me to do??' I mouthed at him. 'Hug him!' He mouthed back.
I doubted that this would help but I did it anyways. I slowly wrapped my arms around Y/N and pulled him close to me. He seemed to just be limp and feel nothing. I hugged him tight. He eventually hugged back tightly and started to breath weirdly. Was he crying? I looked back at mark. He motioned for me to rub his back and I did so. Don't judge me. I don't know how to comfort people all too well. This wasn't exactly something I do everyday.
"It'll be okay." Mark spoke up.
Y/N just looked up at me with his now different eyes. He might jot have seemed to like the chsge but I thought it was pretty cute. Like those kinds of puppies you see that are different from the liter, different colored fur, different eye color, maybe a floppy ear and a ppinted ear, but they don't know that and go on normally with their life. His eyes were starting to water. When one did, the other had black ooze coming out of it.
"H-hey no, no. Its okay. Its alright." I wiped away his tears. I felt something feel weird in my stomach seeing Y/N this way. I didn't like it.
"Why do I always have to be different?" He asked in a low voice. Almost a whisper.
"Its okay to be different." I responded back. Cliché I know. Shut up.
"He's right. There's no reason to try to be normal. I've tried and that doesn't go well." Mark added trying to lighten things up.
"That's because you really are a weirdo. You don't count." I responded trying make Y/N laugh a little, even a little.
"You both are weird. Darks right arm twitches while he sleeps and your left ear twitches when you think you hear something." Y/N added.
"I twitch?" I blinked a few times.
"Cool." Mark just touched his ear seeming impressed with himself. I rolled my eyes.
"I guess I can't feel so different. There doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it while I live here." He said sounding happier.
"That's true." I pulled him back into a hug and rubbed his back. "I promise no matter how different you seem to feel, I'll always like that way."
I glanced over at Mark who seems to look unimpressed. 'Like?' He mouthed to me. I glared at him and he darted away his eyes.
"Well its good to know how you feel about me." Y/N laughed a little. Hearing that made me warm up a bit. I smiled.
I was still concerned though. From what Mark had told me when the incident happened. I concluded that Y/N was obviously not human. Not fully human anyways. I didn't want to tell him that now. I'm sure he still needed to let it sink in that his eyes won't go back to normal anytime soon. Or ever. Maybe he'd even like it. I know I did.
We went about our night like usual. Hopefully nothing will happen again involving that pink stached basturd.
(A/N: filler chapter. Will Dark reveal the information he knows? Will Wilford come back?)
