New Kids

Vio's POV:

I sighed, exasperated, once I saw that my twin brother had yet to wake up.

Red was his name. He was lucky and got a boyish name. I was named Violet! My mother Seamus thought I was going to be a girl, but when I was born she just kept the name.

She was in the military so she was barely home, but I didn't mind it. I was more adult than Red anyways. The poor guy could barely walk to the bathroom at night alone.

Anyways I'm off track.

I walked over to Red and shook him gently at first. "Red. Hey Red. Wake up." I commanded him.

He didn't move. I groaned. This would hurt him more than me. I grabbed his mattress and flipped him out.

"Ow!" Came his whiny reply. "What was that for??" He asked as he sat up, rubbing his head with a weepy expression.

"Sorry Red, but I tried waking you up the normal way." I replied curtly before tossing him some clothes.

He just pouted and slid on his red jeggings, cream colored t-shirt that had a stupid graphic of an apple on it, and his white converses.

Meanwhile I was wearing dark purple jeans, a white tank top with a violet (eew) cardigan on top, a purple knit hat, and cream colored boots.

We walked down the stairs of our two story house and ate our breakfast before heading off to our new school.

Red and I moved around a lot because of mom's work, so we never stayed in one place for an entire year. That is until this year when she promised she would let us finish High School here.

Speaking of school, Red was bouncing excitedly next to me as we neared the brick building.

It was large and quite impressive. The building itself was red brick, black tiled roof, a football field, tennis court, their own private library building, an outside cafeteria, and a huge fountain that had a marble statue of a circle with a small design on it, the fire around the statue was actually water to create the effect.

Red grabbed my wrist and ran inside, pulling me along. We ran until we stopped at the principal's office. The principal was named Mr. Charizard (c'mooonn it's funny lol).

Mr. Charizard had bright red-orange hair with a handlebar mustache to match, golden yellow eyes, and an orange suit with yellow flame patters on his tie. He smiled warmly at us. "Welcome welcome. I am Mr. Charizard, the principal here at S.S. High. You two must be Violet and Red?" He greeted.

I groaned softly. "Please just call me Vio." I said to him.

He just nodded before sliding over to his computer. "Alright Vio, I got your schedules made out right here. Your mother called and said you wanted every class together besides the extra curricular classes because you each like different things, yes?"

"That's correct."

"I see. Well here you are and off you go, I have to yell at someone." He shooed us off.

My brother looked at me and smiled before giggling. "He was funny." He mused.

I just nodded. "Guess so."

We walked around aimlessly because the school was huge and confusing, until we finally made it to our first period class, Hyrulian Studies. We were already fifteen minutes late.

I walked up to the door and knocked on it, a little loudly but who cares?

Soon it opened and reveal a petite young woman with light pink hair, big blue eyes, and a pink dress on with pearls around her neck. "Hello, I am Miss. Jigglypuff. Please come in." We awkwardly walked into the classroom after her and she stood in front of the class. "Alright students! We have two more peers joining you. STOP FALLING ASLEEP FOX! Ahem, anyways, This is Red," she pointed to my bubbling brother.

"Hi everyone! It's nice to meet you all!" He chirped. A blonde boy in the back with a scowl on his face just rolled his eyes boredly.

I internally flipped him off.

"And this is Viol-"

"It's Vio."

She just rose a brow before nodding and making a note of it in her attendance sheet. "And this is Vio."

I just stared at the other students in front of me, one caught my eye though. He had purple hair and dark red eyes, he was sitting beside DickFace.

Averting my eyes from his piercing gaze I just sighed. "Yeah. I'm Vio. I've got nothing else to say." I said monotone.

Red gave me a look of disappointment. He always wanted me to be more open. Like I would.

After we introduced ourselves we were sat at the table in the back with DickFace and EmoBoy. DickFace glanced every so often at Red whom plopped down next to him as soon as we were told to sit back here, which left me next to Emo.

Emo grinned a big toothy grin at me. "So, Vio. How are you liking the school?" He questioned me, like he had something planned.

I rolled my eyes before opening the textbook to the numbers on the board. "Fine." Was all I said.

He snickered and went back to his phone, which was hidden underneath the desk.

I looked up at Red, whom was talking DickFace's ear off. DickFace just groaned and nodded, most likely not paying attention.

I had a feeling today would be long.
