Anime, anime...

Why hast thou been persuaded to evolve into such a pitiful creature?

Whom hast cast this terrible spell

Changing beautiful, artful Japanese animations into a terrifyingly cheesy and uncomely genre of film? Whom?

Why hast thou become a pit to those who cannot find depth in other things besides a screen?

I do not speak of thy name alone, but of others.

Internet, internet, thou hast influenced this modern world to become attached and fixated upon one thing only...

The screen.

The screen that causes cancer and mutations, yet none deny it that have laid even an eye upon it.

I cannot draw myself away from this gripping, treacherous, enticing monster that consumes my grades and social life, and neither can anyone else.

Oh anime, can you take these words and make one last incredible tale? I trust none other- not Disney or Dreamworks, to do so!
