"Get up Jamie!!!" my mum yelled at me as she shook me, trying to get me out of bed, "Your flight is in an hour, get up now!"
"What flight?" I mutter, confused in my half-awake state.
"Your flight to Australia, for the boxing scholarship. Remember, you got a spot at the top amateur boxing school. You have been talking about it for weeks how could you forget."
Hearing my mothers words, I quickly sit up, finally remembering the importance of today. The day I finally leave Canada and fly to Australia to attend the worlds best boxing and fighting school, "Elite Fight Academy". I immediately regret sitting up so quickly, as my head gets extremely dizzy and my eyes lose focus. Once I back to normal I hop out of bed, tell my mum to go, and begin to dress. I put on a pair of loose comfortable jeans, and a grey and black Nike hoodie. I put my dirty blonde hair into a pony tail and look in the mirror, I see my dark blue-green staring back at me, although I'm in a good mood they look cold, no wonder people never win staring contests with me, I think I scare them off. I run down stairs grabbing a bowl of cornflakes and sitting down to eat them. Once I'm done I grab my suitcase and go get in the car with my 10 year old brother, Jacob, my mum Linda, and my dad Brian. Mum tells me I took too long getting dressed, and with that we drive to the airport.
A/N hi guys hope you like the story so far, as you can probably tell it about a girl, Jamie that gets a scholarship to attend and elite boxing school in Australia. K bye, I'll get the next chapter up soon. Xx
