Back pressed against the brick wall as I feel dull nails run up and down my forearm with the attempt to calm me. He was there humming to the beat of a song I was unaware of. The rain hit the metal above us, causing an ear piercing sound to travel through the air, however his deep voice always managed to make everything better. Turning to face him, I couldn't help but feel my mouth stretch into a close mouthed smile, he was young, we both were and this was the only time we could spend time together. All because of the new rule from our parents stating we are no longer allowed to talk which upset both him and I. Subconsciously, I reached my arm up with the intention to stroke his soft hair and this mere action had him confused as his dull nails had lost all contact with my skin. I watched as he turned to face me, instantly our gazes locked and instantly he smiled. My short fingers traced his soft skin before knitting in this brown soft hair. He relaxed into my touch, eyes closing before leaning his head onto my shoulder.

Silence sat in the air, the heavy rain losing its strength against the hard surfaces below it. His dulled nails made their way onto my thigh, slowly running down my bare skin to which sent shivers down my spine, causing goose bumps to grow present. I closed my eyes, taking in the feeling but within seconds, I felt pressure being pressed into my thigh, his not so sharp nails dug onto my flesh and I instantly felt my heart rate pick up. Shooting my eyes open, I flinched away from him, looking down at the now tender flesh growing red. It was the flight or fight response that kicked in, I am never scared of him. Moving back closer to him, I cupped his face whispering his name hoping to see those bright brown orbs again not those emotionless ones staring right at me.

"Tae, hey it's me." I would say and his mere reply would be to grin, eyes growing darker.

"Please Taehyung snap out of it."

I never knew when this began to occur, when his whole train of thought would change, when all he wanted was to hurt the human race. He slowly raised his arm, smile wide and just as his cold lanky fingers were about to latch onto my neck, he froze a deep breath heard passing his lips.

"Jimin?"

A deep relieving sigh pulled away the pressure on my chest before I feel back onto my knees, dropping my hand and merely burying my face in them. A smile was plastered on my lips as slight chuckles passed them. It was heart racing and nerve racking when Taehyung's eyes darkened and his actions became ones wanted to avoid but when those bright orbs come out to show, I can finally breathe again.

"You always seem to scare me Tae." I mumble into the palm of my hands, warm breath heating up my lips.

"I'm sorry." He mumbled.

Raising my head, I saw his head hung low in shame and once a louder laugh was heard from me, he shot his head up, confused.

"It's not your fault." I laughed.

"It's all V's fault, it's never yours." I reassured watching his lips form into a wide smile, one reaching his eyes.

The silence didn't last as Taehyung's mothers voice erupted startling both him and I. Slowly in sync we both looked over to where the source of the scream came from and once seeing his mother staring right at us, anger clear on her features we turned to look at each other once again.

'I'm sorry.' I mouthed knowing it was completely my fault that he was currently in trouble with his parents however his response was to shake his head before pushing himself off the hard surface, me not far behind. As Taehyung headed towards his mother, I stood my ground, hands playing with the hem of my shirt as fear was the only feeling I currently felt. Watching as Taehyung moved away from me, I watched as he pivoted his head with his features presented in the form of a cry for help. I couldn't do anything for me especially when his mother was staring daggers right into me.

Her voice was harsh, all hurtful words directed right at me, almost like knives already impaled into my chest and she was merely pushing against them, sinking them deeper into my flesh.

"He's no good for you Taehyung!"

Watching her stare right at me, I couldn't take the glare anymore and averted my gaze to Taehyung and that's when I felt my whole body grow tense and breath get caught in my throat. I watched as Taehyung cocked his head to the side as he stared up at his mother with no emotion lurking in his orbs. Watched as his fists clenched and he changed his stance. Without hesitation I rushed over to stand between his mother and him only to have a direct hit in the nose.

Catching myself from falling back onto his mother, I looked at Taehyung who was smiling at me before he let out a laugh.

"Tae?" I whispered reaching out to run my fingers over his cheek only to have it slapped away and back to dangle by my side.

"V." He corrected.

"You don't remember Jiminine? You named me this anyway."

The boy that stood before me was no one I could say is my friend or the person I feel in love with. He was a monster in some people's eyes but in mine he was just a lost cause, someone who needed someone and no one was there for him. Sighing, I brought my hand up only to latch my fingers around his slim wrist. Seeing him flinch back at the sudden contact, he tried to pull his wrist free but my grip merely tightened causing his anger to flow out of his eyes.

"You're not alone Tae. I know it's weird being the only person you know that has two different personalities but you just have to learn to control it."

It was split second, I saw a flash of colour in his eyes but was instantly lost to rage.

Taehyung was like a broken puzzle piece, he was unwanted everywhere he went and never both his personalities would fit a group of people long enough for them to understand. I wasn't going to be another soul that threw him away but for some reason he was doing it to me. Abandoning me like I never existed in his life and begging me to forget him.

However, when the day did come and his name was just a rash on my tongue, it was the day mother said 'he's going somewhere special, where he belongs.' He was no longer a first priority to me anymore nor a person I remember but why want me to remember you now?

A tunnel so dark and forgotten that it begs to be heard and seen and for some reason, I saw it first.
